Question:
I have only seen very few Aetna US healthcare on the Tx insurance page.

Hello. I am from Cleveland, Tx. It is a little town North of Houston. About 40 minutes or so. I have AETNA US HEALTHCARE PPO. I had a vbg done with Dr. Harberg. I had no problems at all with the insurance company. It just took them a while to make up their minds! I also had a friend who had the surgery and used AETNA US HEALTHCARE HMO. My doctors office took care of everything. All I had to do was get my doctors supervised weightloss attempt faxed over to their office. That was it! Good Luck, and GOD bless!

Hello, I have Aetna US Healthcare. I had an Open VBG on April 30 with Dr Harberg in Houston, and never had any problems with the insurance. The Dr's office staff handled all the paperwork for me and I was approved in less than 2 weeks. I never even talked to anyone from the insurance company. They covered 100 % of all costs. It was very easy. I think ( in my personal opinion) that some Dr's offices know how the insurance company requires things and they get it all together and it saves time. Good Luck. Leah

I had my surgery in Houston with Dr. Wongsa on 5/16/01 and I have Aetna HMO US Healthcare and they approved me in 3 days. NO problems at all. I am an angel to another lady that has the same insurance and she had no problems getting approved either.

I have AEtna U ACCESS and was approved for lap rny with Dr. Carlos Ferrari he is not in their network so I have to pay a deductable. Another Dr. highly recogmended him.My surgery is scheduled for Sept. 28.
