Question:
LOWER RIGHT SIDE BACK PAIN/NAUSEAU/DRY HEAVES

Has anyone had any experience with lower right side back pain??? Around the rib cage and lower... I do not have my gallbladder, it was removed several years ago. Also have been nauseauted, and have had dry heaves a couple times in the past few days. I had been taking all my meds in the morning on a empty stomach, but called the doctor and they told me to stop and to eat and spread the meds out. I seem to really feel bad after I've taken my multi vitamin with Iron????? any ideas would be appreciated.    — Sandra T. (posted on October 18, 2002)

any fever?? frequent voiding? pain with urination?? It couldbe a kidney infection, you might want to mention this to your doc. Also, do you take any antiulcer medications?? It might be a good idea to try one to help decrease the gastric acid.

I agree with Vicki. It really sounds like a kidney problem. Please call your PCP and have a urine test right away.

I agree...sounds like kidney, I had stones over the summer, and thought I was going to die! Go see the doc. ASAP, it will only get worse the longer you wait, I had to have a stint in for two weeks, that was horrible! Good Luck!

It is wierd that this came up both in a post this morning and in this question, because I have the exact same thing right now. I believe that I did not drink enough water today and maybe yesterday as well so I am going to drink more water and see if that helps. I hope I don't have to visit the doctor. I am in training for my new job and don't want to miss it.
