I just want to say my surgeon was polite, professional, and had very good bedside manner. He attended to my every need and made sure I understood everything that was going on. I love my surgeon!
I must say that Dr. Schroder is the \"BEST\" in his field. Not only is he an excellent surgeon but he is a great person. A doctor that goes that extra mile. I could tell by the sparkle in his ey that it was going to be a joyful journey down the weight loss path.
Dr Schroder is a mild mannered easy going doctor. He doesn't sugar coat anything but he's kind and honest in anwering any questions. His staff have all been great, my only dislike is how busy his office is but that is just because they do just a great job they keeping getting more patients! They work with the local hosptials and have multi support groups each month. I recommend Dr. Schroder to anyone.
Dr. Schroder was recommended to me by the nurse at my family doctor's office. She had Dr. Schroder for her gastric bypass a few years ago and she spoke very highly of him. I really like him and think he has a great, caring personality. He reminds me of Gene Simmons and I told him so right before my surgery! The only drawback I can see to using him or his office is that they are always super-crowded and you often experience long wait times. Overall, I would definitely recommened him for your WLS.
Dr.Brengman is GREAT! He took time to answer all my questions and address all my concerns. He is very personable as well and easy to talk to. My surgery was 9-14-07. Everything went well. I would recommend him highly. He is concerned with his patients and their progress, both before and after surgery. He went over everything with me, including risks and aftercare. I felt very comfortable with my decision to have Lap-Band surgery after our visit. It has been two weeks and I have lost 22 lbs so far!! The only problem I had was trying to speak with his nurse. I was in pain a few days after surgery and had to wait 4 hours for a return call, after I was assured by the receptionist that she would call me right back. Overall my experience has been wonderful! Dr.Brengman is a wonderful surgeon.
Dr. Schroder is very caring and concerned surgeon. His bedside manner makes you feel comfortable to ask questions than one may initially hestitate to ask. My impression of his staff is they're busy, but make time to answer your questions, especially when there is an issue or concern. He made me feel comfortable and my anxiety was not as severe because of the confidence I have in him. This is very important. I believe that I may had cancelled the procedure, if I was extremely anxious. Instead, I looked forwarded to my surgery date with great excitement for the start on my journey. Dr. Schroder provides excellent aftercare and is upfront about risk. I will and have recommended him to anyone who asks me who my surgeon was. He possesses and excellent surgical competence and bedside manner. Both are extremely important to me. I would rate him a perfect 10.
In April 2006, after 2 years with my band installed in Mexico, my band eroaded and became infected and had to be removed. Dr Brengman and his associates at Richmond Surgical Group (bariatric clinic) took my case and took great care of me. I HIGHLY recommend them. They were the only ones in my area that had experience with my problem and would take my case. They said in 6 months I could look at re-installing my band. I can't wait.rnUPDATErnI am finally getting a new band. My surgery is set for October 1st 2007. I can't wait. I loved my band before and I am looking forward to this one. Yippy !!!! Of coarse Dr Brengman of Richmond Surgical Group will be doing the surgery. I have complete trust in them.
He is a wonderful surgeon, he has a wonderful bedside manner , he is very caring and concerned with all his patients. His office staff are always upbeat and cheering you on ! They try and make you stay positive. They are great material to take home for pt understanding and always answer questions as they arise.rnHe and his staff are a 10.rn
Dr. Schroder was very supportive of my decision to have surgery. He did everything he could with my insurance to make the surgery happen, and he was very straightforward with all of the possible risks and complications of the Lap-Band surgery. I was also impressed that he managed to find the time to visit me right before my surgery, especially since he had just completed another surgery right before my own. Overall, a very competent doctor that knows exactly what he's doing.
