Dr bour and the whole staff at bariatric solution are great i cam.in jan 2014 all health issues short of breath out of shape really no hope the pre op support groups the people u meet that are going thru the same issues u are are great to talk to wel what can i say about dr bour hes the man he does a support group once or twice a month and i new from there he was the guy h3 has over 2000 surgery under his belt i wouldnt want anyone else he told me risks rewards i was afraid to go under cause i never have he made me feel better about about going under the only thing i can say is after the surgey i would of liked to speak with him i think i did when i a woke but i dont remember i was meesed up on pain pills and groogy all in all good doc hillcrest good hospital great exp
Dr.Bour did my surgery 6 years ago. I am 5 lbs below my goal weight. This surgery gave me my life back. I am Nana to 14 grandchildren. The last 3, I was able to hold in my lap. That was my goal - to be able to sit one of my grands in my lap and not just on my knee. Dr. Scott is seeing me now since Dr. Bour's new position with hospital. I highly recommend this group - point in fact - my daughter is 3 weeks out from her life changing (saving) surgery! Thank you
What can I say about Dr. Bour that others haven't said? He's a great doctor. I liked him from the moment I met him. He's very down to earth, and a normal guy who just happens to perform bariatric surgery. I did not get that "I'm a doctor so I'm better than you" vibe from him at all, and that is rare in my experience.
His whole team-other doctors, the nurses, the dieticians, the receptionists-are all very professional and ,more importantly, likeable. They address all concerns and worries completely and I was never made to feel foolish for my queries.
Dr. Bour runs a tight ship with great focus on pre AND post operative care. I feel very comfortable recommending his office to anyone in the Greenville ( and beyond ) area.

He is an excellent surgeon!He really cares about each of his patients.His staff are all very much into helping us succeed!I did not have a good experience at simpsonville hospital but everybody else did{make sure you have someone with you to help at all times].The aftercare program is an excellent tool to help with success,my failures were my own doing!They gave me all the necessary info to succeed but it is still up to me to follow.I would give Dr.Bour and all his staff an excellent report card,this is the best thing I could have ever done for myself to give myself the best shot at success and I WILL GET THE LAST 70LBS OFF!!100 down 70 to go!
Dr. Bour gives it to you straight. He wants his patients to suceed. He educates all of his patients very well. Nothing was ever a suprise to me. The practice runs like a well oiled machine. I am so glad that I decided to go with them. From beginning to end you have all the support you ever need and then some. The support after surgery is definetly in place and I am sure it will be just as great as the preop support! His statistics speak for themselves he is at the top of his game.
Dr. Bour is AWESOME and I am so glad I chose him and his center for my surgery..couldn't be happier!
I chose Dr. Eric Bour because of his reputation. I did my homework and searched for what I was the best surgeon to hold my life in their hands. I am resentful of pts who call their surgeon a nut! I consider Dr, Bour one of the best! I would have never chosen a nut to do surgery on me! The office is impressive! There has been lots of well thought out proceedures and processes for the office in totality. There is a call center with staff available 24/7. A store Nutrition Soulitions to there to assist you in ever aspect of your nutritional needs. The staff is quipped to your meet all of you needs as you go through this journey from the beginning to the end as well as maintance. They have groups for every phase you go throug. I am fortunate to have Dr. Bour and his staff to call my own. Thank you all for everything!
