Great guy! Not only his is a great guy, but the office and his stuff are just wonderful. I had a few complications, i.e. gallbladder failure and surgery thereafter, and I was just amazed how the staff took care of me. The calls are returned promptly, I was made feel that my pain is very important to everybody who I got in contact with. It is difficult to mentioned everybody, so please forgive me if I miss anyone, but starting with the nut, Camie, Katie of course, then dr Scott, Carmen, the office stuff,. Let’s not forget Dr Calhun, our psych. She is great. I had a few sessions with her post op and she helped me a lot. With staff like that, no wonder dr Bour office is a center of excellence. Thank you for taking care of me, for being there for me.

This has got to be the most organized medical practice I've ever visited!!! I love it! Everything is laid out in black and white for you. All you have to do is listen and do what you are told...lol

When I met Dr. Bour he made me feel very comfortable. He sat down and ask me if I had any questions. He was perfectly willing to spend as much time as I needed. I was impressed and not at all nervous about my upcoming surgeryrn

My surgeon is the MAN! His staff is AWESOME! He is very knowledgable about what he does and has a fantastic reputation. He has never lost a patient. His program is designed specifically to the needs of his patients and their success, not to make his life easier. He truly cares about our health and well being. He believes in good, clear, useful information. He does not believe in ambiguity. I am having to share my diet info with other WLS patients because their surgeons don't care enough to get them the info they need. His surgical competence is better than his bedside manner but I didn't use him to be his friend, I wanted the best surgeon if I was having surgery. His bedside manner is fine, he is very nice, don't get me wrong, but just not why I used his services.

I attended an information session with Bariatric Solutions and Dr. Eric Bour on December 20, 2007. I have to say that I am extremely impressed with their program and came away with an abundance of information and a better understanding of exactly what is involved and what is expected if, in fact, I elected to proceed with this new venture...new chapter to my life. I have read all of the testimonials from other's that were as impressed with this as I am and because of their faith and confidence with Dr. Bour, I am convinced that he is the surgeon for me and the one that I would trust my life to. I have decided to make this first step and have an enrollment appoint for the 2nd week of January 2008. I have a very good feeling about it.rnrnrnWanda H.

Dr. Eric Bour is one the best surgeons in the upstate. Well, I think he is the best. He really cares about his patients and wants what is best for them. I really like him. He has a good sence of humor too. Some say they don't like his bedside manor it's probably because they aren't being compliant. He will let you know if you aren't. I so glad I did my research and chose him. Thanks Dr. B.

Meet Dr. Bour on 9/17...OMG...He is sooo wonderful. I could really tell he cares about his patients and is passionate about what he does. He put me totally at ease. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I have had a very positive experience with Dr. Bour from the beginning. I have heard horror stories of how he can be very mean but he has been nothing but nice to me. I think he is great. He is very focused on his job and the care of his patients. If he gets tough on anyone, it is because he has to for the person's well being. If you aren't doing what you are supposed to be doing, you will hear about it. And you should because you are only going to cause yourself problems if you don't follow directions. rnrnAll of the staff have been great as well. I haven't come across anyone I didn't like or anyone that wasn't compassionate for obese people. rnrnAftercare is essential and this staff makes that very apparent. They are with you every step of the way and make sure you progress well and make sure you are not deficient in anything. rnrnOverall, my review of Dr. Bour and his staff is - EXCELLENT.
