    Dr. Wright graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1994 with high honors, and completed his surgical training at UT Southwestern in Dallas in 2001.  He has performed over 3000 bariatric procedures, and currently offers the Lap-band, gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, gastric balloon, and V-Bloc. He is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, the Texas Medical Association, Bexar County Medical Society, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.

    Dr. Wright is amazing. Very compassionate and caring. His care of my during my surgery was exceptional. I would without a doubt in my mind recommend to to anyone considering weight loss surgery.

    Dr Wright was very encouraging and provided answers to all my questions and concerns. His office personnel were also great in dealing with my insurance and post op questions.
