Dont give up..It took me a year and one denial before my surgery...and thanks GOD I had my surgery a month ago..Its a long process sometimes but its WORTH it...You will be feeling so much better afterwards....stay positive, focus and think how you will look after you start loosing some weight. Dont give up and think is a day less... It took me almost 6 months more than what I thought I was going to have my surgery...so hang in there kiddo....you are closer than what you think!!!

hopefully you are feeling better.. It happened to me too before surgery exactly like you..I took everything I could think of to get rid of it and I was trying to hide it from my Dr. when I went before surgery. I still had some cough but I was able to hide it..I had my surgery and everything went fine. I think is bad to hide it from your Dr. But I think he would have noticed it anyways when they did all my labs before surgery.. Good luck..lots of OJ...

Ok everyone tomorrow is the big day for me. I actually have to go in today and do all preop stuff. So for everyone that goes tomorrow and after good luck. See everyone on the skinny side. I will admit I am a little nervous today but tomorrow I will be scared out of mind. I will talk to everyone in a week or so.

good luck, I go one day before you. I am sure that you are in good hands.
Just make sure you take chapstick, my friend old me that you lips get very dry. ( femine products too.) She told me to take an ipod or mp3 player to drown out any other noise or noisy roomates. I would take creams for dryness.

Just a sugesstion, what about going on liquids that do not have too much salt. Have a family member or friend make you some broth, drink water and hot tea ( no sugar or sugar substitutes.) Good luck, my date 1/08

Wish you all the best for the psych evaluation. Just keep calling and keep on top of these people. My surgery is 1/8 and they have not told me what time to be at the hospital. But I just I had to go through some waiting. I was lucky with my husband's ins and did not have trouble. he is having it too and did not have trouble. ( mind you we do have many of the health issues due to being overweight.)

Good luck on 1/23. I will be going in 1/8 for my surgery. I will let you know how everything goes. Just be postive, I will try and post my comments after the surgery.

Hi,I had surgery on 4/5/07 and have lost 82lbs. (9months).At 6 months out I had lost about 60-65lbs I think.Keep it up and take care!
