I have had A LOT of surgeries and hospitalizations before but normally I was already in the hospital... and none of them were like this!

HOW DO I GET THE SCALE ON MY POST THAT TRACKS MY WEIGHT GOAL ?...IAM NEW TO THE SITE AND I SEE ALOT OF PEOPLE WITH THIS SCALE IN DIFFERENT COLORS,DESIGHNS AND STYLES...AND i've TRIED TO FIND IT WITH NO SUCCESS .

Yep, I picked up some GasX and pureed prunes (baby food) just in case 
I had a mani/pedi 2 days ago, and it is definately a treat you should have before your surgery. It's so relaxing and a nice distraction. I plan on making a pedicure a monthly thing from this point on.

Hi! Diane, I hope you are feeling better about your up coming surgery. Are you prepared ? I am having mine on Feb 1st, I was at the Dr's yesterdays and they could tell that I was nervous. I bought a lot of my stuff on the way home as tomorrow I start my liquid diet. I have my Magic Bullet, tryng different shakes,also bought child sized utensils and plates, etc.I bought stuff for t least 2 weeks and that way I would not need to go to the store Its 25 miles. I am trying to fight off a sinus infection or cold. I have been real careful not to get sick. That is what I worry about the most. Good luck on your surgery it will be over before you know it.

hello to all. new the the site and wanted to wish all a very happy feb! I am having my surgery feb 3, 2010. i start my 3 day liquid diet on sunday! getting really really anxious and excited. i can hardly wait to celebrate my new birthday!
1st dr visit: dec 16 2009
egd dec 21 2009
preop testing-stress test, pysch dr, dietician, ect. 12-22-09
recieved insurance approval letter 1-25-10
surgery set up for 2-3-10 on 1-26-10
starting weight 249.2 height 5 ft 2 inches
cant wait to meet some new friends and supporters

Thanks for the idea for the divided powder container, that is definitely going on my list. I also bought my vitamins, some protein powders,but I also bought the gasx and some mirolax just in case.
On the fun side, I've decided to treat myself to a pedicure before surgery, I deserve it after this liquid diet :)

Im so excited , Im counting down the days , i've lost 13lbs. thus far and can'nt wait to get on the scale on 2/12/10, which is my next visit with the nutrionist ! My pre-op diet start date is 02/19/10 .

Oh yes time go lightning fast, especially after we start the 2 weeks pre-op diet... I cannot believe than I am going to have my sleeve in 5 days!
