Topic: Plastic Surgery on June 13th!!!! :-) :-) :-)
I have my final quote from Dr. Fenner's office, and on Tuesday, June 13th I will be having a Brachioplasty (arm lift) and Mastopexy (breast lift). Just as with my Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass surgery, I'm both excited and scared at the same time. Am I doing the right thing? I think so. I hope so!
Dr. Fenner's office has been excellent in working with me through this, and I highly recommend them. My friend Kathy S. has also gone through plastic surgery with Dr. Fenner. She is going for round 2 of her surgery in late June. I'll check with her about putting a link to her site on mine - her journey is simply amazing! Here is Dr. Fenner's site:

Thanks to everyone who gave me advice and encouragement during my decision-making for the plastic surgery. God Bless You All!

Topic: updated pics finally!
hey april babies,
long time no post i wanted to drop in so you all could see my progress thus far. i've followed several of you since the beginning and i'm so proud for all of us we've made it, and we all look GREAT!!! as of today i weigh in at 183lbs with a starting weight of 353lbs. my goal was 199lbs, but my body has other ideas it's still losing slowly yes, but i would be fine if i didn't lose another pound considering i have 10-15lbs of excess skin. my intention when i had this surgery wasn't to get thin i twas to get healthy, and i've accomplished that. my hubby worries he doesn't want me to lose too much, but like i told him i can't help what my body wants to do!! lol i'm lucky in the fact i can eat pretty much what i want with beef being the exception only in very small amounts. i've finally posted new pics of me on my profile so you all can have a looksee
i hope you all are doing well, and have met your goals, and your life is soooooooooooooo much more fullfilling! god bless you all!
love,
kriss

Topic: RE: FAMILY
Anita,
You are truly a wonderful person to step up and take care of these "lost" kids, some day, your nieces/nephews will thank you from the bottom of their hearts and souls and you'll know that what you did, saved them from untold misery and unhapiness.
Know that you thought of and admired.
Hugs from TX,
Susan

I have to say that I really dislike these kinds of posts because we are all DIFFERENT!!! We have different body types, carry weight differently, different health issues, etc. I've reached a weight that my surgeon is satisfied with and that's what I go by.
This type of question could make some people feel very inadequate about themselves. What matters is that we're working the program and getting healthier....not how many lbs. lost or what size you can get into now.
Flame away, if you want...I don't care.

Topic: Finally the Century Club and a Breast Reduction
It's been a busy month. I had my breast reduction on May 19th. I'm still recovering. After losing the 100 pounds, my breast still did not shrink to less than a 34DDD. What a bummer!! So I looked into having a breast reduction and the surgeon removed over a pound and a half from each breast. The size should be a C or B. I can really tell the difference with the 3 pounds removed off my chest. It's been 11 days since the surgery and I'm still pretty sore. Finally the scale reads 148!! I guess the surgery helped the weight loss. So I am oficially in the Century Club!! Only 13 pounds to my goal. 251/148/135.
