Surgery April 21st, anyone around the same time??

Hello to all .. or to anyone *****ads this 

My surgery date is April 21st..  a little less then 2 weeks away... I'm looking for people who are having their surgery the same date or close to the same date to add for mutual support!

Congrats on your date,  My surgery date is also April 21.   When do you have to start your fast?

Mine's on 4/27... how's your pre-op diet going?

You know, it's weird but my surgeon doesn't do the 2 week fast prior to surgery..   so I just do a 24 hour liquid diet prior to surgery.       How long do you have to fast for?  And Congrats on your date as well!!  

My surgeon does the 24 hour thing also...light breakfast, full liquid lunch and clear liquid dinner with no food or liquids after midnight. My surgery is at 8 a.m on April 20th in Carmel, IN

Oh good!    Happy to hear that someone else is being told to do the same!   Congrats on your date being so close and best wishes in a speedy recovery!  We should keep in touch!! 

Congrats to you also!!  Best wishes to you also! I am usually checking OH everyday...ok...gotta hit the bed...need to be up about 5:30 to make biscuits and gravy for the fire house.

My surgery is 4/21/09. I'm having a lap VBG. Started the 1000 calorie diet on Monday. Can't believe that the day is coming so close. I have an endoscopy on Thursday and then back in on 4/21/09 !!!

Looking so forward to be a few months post-op and dropping some weight to get more active.
