Wow! I'm surprised this isn't up yet. Happy Sunday everyone! We have off school tomorrow and this coming Friday so it's two long weekends! Yippee! I'm waiting for Britt and my mom. We're cleaning out the kid's room today. Okay, I'm sick. I LOVE decluttering. And, Britt and I have a deal if she keeps it clean. *I* don't have a flat-panel TV but if she keeps it clean for a month, she'll get one on her birthday. Good deal I think. So, my week was blah and it showed on the scale. Highest right before surgery: 265.8 Day of surgery: 255 Last week: 152.0 This morning: 152.0 Loss this week: Nothing Total pounds lost: 113.8 pounds!!!!! Pounds until surgeon's goal: 2!!!!! I see my surgeon Thursday. Wish me luck to get those 2 pounds off!!! lol Have a great week Maysters! * Cyndi *

Cyndi I am doing so many shakes right now cause I just can't eat to the amount of protien they wanted. My surgeon wanted my protein increased to 100-120 g protien for 2-3 weeks after surgery to help with healing. It has helped. My insicions are completely healed!! (well the exterior ones anyway) This is giving me time to set up a schedule and eating for myself while I am on leave to help me once I am back to work. Whoo hooo on the firdge but isn't that how it always works. Aytime you THINK you have some extra cash something goes wrong.

Our surgeons are all soooooooooooo different. When I told mine I was eating lots of chicken and doing three protein shakes, 25 g protein each, every day he "reminded" me that the max we need a day is about 65 g so I was wasting the calories from the third shake. He told me the extra calories in the extra shake could be keeping me at unnecessary stalls. I've done horrible with my eating. Still WAY better than pre-op, but stinky lately. Our fridge died Friday, 2 minutes (swear!) after we online filed our Federal taxes. The new one came Tuesday. I was only able to really use it yesterday. So, I've had no shakes and we've had to eat out every single meal. I did have a shake first thing this morning. I feel good. BUT, my dear grandfather brought me MORE cookies! He thinks I'm dangerously thin. I'm 5'8" and 152 lbs. I'm no toothpick. LOL So, as much as I love that he's doing this, it's NOT good for me. I don't dump so cookies are dangerous. I dumped once and it was on a silly TINY piece of a pound cake I made. Chocolate chip cookies.....nothing. lol So, here's what my day will probably look like: Breakfast: Orangecreamsicle/orangeade protein shake: 95 cals / 25 g protein Snack: 100 calorie pack Cheese Nibs Lunch: either grilled chicken tenders at Cracker Barrel or beef noodle soup (mainly the beef) at Cracker barrel with splenda iced tea Dinner: I'm making chicken parmesan for the family. So, about 2-3 oz chicken with cheese and a tiny bit of spaghetti. Night snack: Fudgesicle! 40 calories I'm so happy to have my new fridge! LOL * Cyndi *
