Cyndi,
You are my hero..............
You are doing so great and you are looking more and more beautiful. I had a bad week but I am back on track this week and not going to budge. I remember when I did the 2 or 3 pound gain and loss when I was around the 200 mark and then you told me to be patient and that I would drop down to the 180's one day and I did. Well I am messing around the 175-180 area now and it is irritating me but I have to relax and remember that one of these days I will drop to 169, that is my next dream come true. Thanks for always encourageing me and keeping me on track.
Love ya,
Esther

Don't worry Holly, you will be at the 100 mark very soon. You are doing a great job. I have to remember when I was doing the up and down thing when I was around the 200 mark and Cyndi told me that all of a sudden I would drop down to the 180's and she was right so I guess my body is doing the up and down thing in the 70's right now. I know that I have to be patient but I am going to stick to protein this week and see if I can get myself going again. Thanks for being here for me.
Hugs,
Esther

You got it Holly! I can't wait until I can make you a Century Club card! You'll be there in no time. I need to get back to protein, protein, and more protein. My fridge died Friday night. Funny enough, a whopping 2 minutes after we filed our Federal Taxes online. lol I swear our electronics talk to each other. The home warranty policy we have *should* have had a repairman out within 24 hours. Uh huh. We STILL haven't heard anything! So, my dear mom, afraid that me being without juice or milk for my shakes freaked and demanded we go to Sears Sunday and get a new fridge. lol She put it on her Sears card and got all these crazy discounts so I'll have a fridge here between 12:15 and 2:15 today. I can't wait to make SF pudding! lol I'm off to grab a warm bottle of water. ICK! lol

I decided to try the shakes again tonight actually, after staring at the pile of protein powders I've had sitting on the dining room floor for almost 9 months!
I put 1 scoop of vanilla powder (I use Gourmet Whey), 1 handful of frozen mixed berries, and about 3/4 cup maybe of skim milk all into my super duper magic bullet.
As a super picky person when it comes to protein shakes...this one rocked and I plan on making it again!
Donna - I never thought of using the RS Instant Breakfast powders!

REBECCA!!!!!! Good to see you!! Missed seeing you around here!!! As for a stall .....keep a food journal and make an appt with your NUT. Might be time to tweak a thing or too. But don't stay away......support helps with things like that and there are several that are like you close to goal......not me but there are some..

I can share with you my smoothies recipes.......i use a flavor of light yogurt (depending on my mood but usually mango peach, or peach, or orange creme, or blueberry they yoplait ones are 6 oz. I add 3 oz of skim milk. One scoop protein powder (I am using up the vanilla I have.....you could use unflavored. I put in half a banana. and I throw in about 3-4 whold frozen unsweetned strawberries or sometimes mixed fruit. Makes it nice and thick and good. You can vary the flavor by verying the yougurt or frozen fruit choice. Sometimes I will use 3 oz of orange or apple juice insead of milk. the secret is the frozen fruit istead of ice. Gives you the fruit without the hight sugar content of juice.
Now it is not fruit but he other thing I do is 1 pack sf carnation instant breakfast, 4 oz light vanilla yogurt, 4 oz milk, 1/2 to one scoop protien powder, half banana, you can add some ice. or you can do 8oz of skim milk if you do not like yogurt......it is 25-30 grams protein depending on which way you make it.
nice to see you posting!!!
