HI, I am a 30 year old female. I live in a small town in Minnesota. I own a barber shop. I am a 3rd generation barber. I also got the high blood pressure, chol., and all of the other fun things that come from being over weight. I have been over weight all of my life to one degree or another. I had my lapband done on May 19th. I am down almost 70 lbs. Things are going pretty well. I had my gulblatter out a month after surgery. So, my progress with my weight loss is not as great as I would like it to be. I gained when I was in the hopsital. I stayed 5 days when I got the gulblatter out. I was really sick. I am really encouraged by everyone's stories. I think this is great. By the way I can't type or spell.

Holly, You are doing awesome! I was watching BL couples too! Not sure if I like it as much as the normal show. But after the preview of what is to come next time.....might get interesting!!! Good Luck with progress on that treadmill!!! Donna

I hope the everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year. I am just so glad that everything is over and done with. Have all my decorations down and packed away....Christmas presents are all unpacked and put away. Only a few more pieces of trim to put up in the dinigroom and the remodel is offically complete. I had a horrible time with all the holiday goodies....didnt gain but didn't lose. Last week we went and purchased a new treadmill and finally got it put together and running. Did my walking first thing this morning. I have my eyes set on being overweight...only 7 more pounds to go....then the next goal is 100 pounds released by May 8th. I hope with the holidays behind me and the new treadmill I will see these goals reached and move on to new ones. For those out there that feel like they are never going to make it you are definitely not alone. I hope that I get the scale moving and get to where I want to be. Biggest Loser Couples starts tonight so I will be watching that!!!! I have about 35 pounds total till my final goal.....I really need to look into plastics....but that will not be finicially possible for at least three years. I am figuring I have at least 15 pounds in excess skin. I am getting so close and I just want to get to goal.....I know I need to get some patience....and that is not going to come overnight.....I just get so afraid that I am at the end.....Thank you for everyone who keeps pushing me along. I am getting tired and am starting to ramble so I guess I will let everyone get back to what they were doing. Here are my stats... Highest 262 Surgery 258 This week 176.5 Doctors goal is 150 My goal is 140 Total loss of 85.5 pounds and 36 inches Very glad of how far I have come just anxious to get to the next goal!!!!
