Yes, I have been MIA lately. I have told Donna, and I will tell you all as well, I had to detach from OH because I was getting bad about comparing myself with other results and feeling like a failure. It is hard to compare with you all because I had the revision from the band to the RNY, but I am still finding myself comparing. I am weight-training with a personal trainer 2-3 days a week and doing cardio for 30-40 minutes about 3-4 days a week when I am not suffering a stomach bug or cold that we have been plagued with this past month. I am grazing a lot lately and find myself depressed. My body is still changing - I have gone from a starting pant size of 26 down to an 18. My shirts are Misses size now - mostly XL's. Here is the thing....in the past two months I have lost a TOTAL of 11 pounds. 4 pounds in October and 7 pounds in November. I have been eating MORE lately though. Also, I know i am gaining muscle - believe me....I AM - but the stalling loss is getting to me. I expected to get below 200 into onderland by years end.....I am sitting at 217. Will it happen? Is anyone else going through this valley? Am I normal? At 7 months post-op am I done with my weight loss? Can I get below 200? I am at a loss here. Thanks for listening even though I have been missing. ((HUG))

Holly, Our weekly postings are purely unconditional. It is good to have someplace to go where you can post your update and genuinely feel like someone cares. I have to admit, much of the month of November I didn't feel like saying I was just staying the same. Then, I think, at some point that is what we will be saying in these updates, and it will be a GOOD thing. We will be at goal and enjoying the fruits of our labors. I try to speculate if it will be easier to keep the weight off or to lose that initial weight...HMMMM....In fact I'm going to go now and post that question on the graduates message board. Have a great week. John

That is it...I'm switching doctors. I want a doc that lets you pretend that M&M's are vitamins. Get me his/her name so I can get him/her to write me out a GENEROUS precription. Take two M&M's and call me in the morning. LOL John

Hi Maysters, I've been weighing in on Monday mornings and missing the party every Sunday morning. Recently I set my scale to match the one at the doctors office, so now I know what the doc's office is going to say before I get there. The nearest I can tell is that I have lost 4 pounds this week. That is 5 last week and 4 this week for a total of 9 in the past two weeks. I AM still shaking my fist at November for only letting me enjoy 4 pounds of weight loss. It just goes to show you that slow and steady wins the race. Highest: 347 Surgery Date: 300 Last Week: 215 This Week: 211 Loss This Week: 4 pounds Total lost: 136 Keep up the great work everyone. John
