Hi all....we had a rather quiet Valentine's Day. DH had First Responder class all eveining....so I went and had my nails done....and came home and put the kids to bed....had an AWESOME chat with Cyndi.....and then went to bed!!!!! I got 12 beautiful yellow roses from DH. Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!!!!! Here is to good loses for Sundays weigh in!!!!! Crossing fingers for 169!!!!!!

I was picking the kids up from their afterschool sitter and my dd went out the door and I was behind the door. DS comes after her and opens the door wide and I said "oh I am getting squished" To that Em says "Barrett mom may be skinny but she can still be squished by the door!" My daughter called me skinny! Best Valentines day ever!!!!
And the sweetest card from dh that says basically I got you something sexy for Valentines day and then you open it and there is a mirror and he wrote a note about how proud of me he is...........awwww
So what about everyone else. How was your Valentines Day this year?

Woohoo Courtney!!! I'm so happy for you! 8 lbs in one week is terrific!!! And, congrats on the size 18s! That's fantastic! You're doing great!

Thank you for your responses. Sounds like I am right on track with my calorie intake. I am going to increase my fluid and protein and see if that helps. I think it is just another stall. I just get so discouraged when I read how much better others who had the surgery around the same time as me have done.

Great to hear Courtney. You deserve the big loss this week.
I'm also feeling that I'm getting things turned back around. This does get tougher as time goes on. We tend to want to slip back into some of the old habits and before you know it, we hit a stall. If you keep doing what you are doing and just keep doing everything correctly, the weight has no choice but to head out of town.
Glad to hear that you are headed back in the right direction...just keep the focus. We have 11-15 more weeks (depending on surgery date 2007) to get what we want off by our 1 year surgiversary. Let's just collectively keep plugging along. I've watched the ones who have gotten to goal, and it is not always the ones who lose big amounts of weight, but the ones who just keep plugging along like a turtle.

I just wanted to share with everyone that my stall finally broke!! I was getting really frustrated because I had been working out...still counting calories...and never went over 800 calories a day for a couple weeks--and I lost 2 lbs one week and nothing the week after that! Sooo...I Didn't post my weight on the Sunday weigh in this week because I was in San Antonio on vacation. I weighed on Tuesday morning when I got home and I had lost 8 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8 lbs in one week!!!!!!!!!!!! Also--I am totally into a size 18 pants now! I bought 3 new pairs of pants 2 days ago and they were all 18s. I haven't been a size 18 since 7th grade!! I'm also wearing a size 14/16 top! Finally I'm starting to even out. Hooray! I just wanted to let everyone know...I'm still alive and I'm doing well! Off to the gym! =)
