Great job with the 102 pounds.
I also had some back problems and it slowed my loss down for a couple of months. the fat was holding everything in place...now I need to sit up straight...I'm working at it.
Just who is that person looking back at you in the mirror...we just get more kind and more good looking...right?

Hello Mayers, I have missed all of you. I have been going through a tough time, but I am still losing just slowly. I have lost a total of 77 pounds and I think my Dr.s have finally regulated my thyroid. I was on alot of meds for my thyroid before the surgery, and after losing 50lbs. my heart went into what is called afibulation. So they completely took me off of the thyroid meds. Needless to say, I could not lose an ounce while I was off of the meds. But, I have been slowly increasing it again, under doctors care of course and I have begun to lose again. I have read all of your posts and you are all dong so great. Keep up the great work. Hugs Tina

Hey all,
My surgery date was 5/10/07 - best thing I've ever done. My highest weight was 311, I am now down to 210. I have been a slow looser-75lbs since surgery. Its been frustrating but when I think of it in total it still blows my mind. 101 pounds in a year! I am so much happier now and can do so much more now than I could before - and my knees don't hurt.
Congratulations to us all!

that's great Chante, you'll be fine, your body will even itself out, I'm sure.
that is great to be at goal and your not even a year out, you'll have plenty of time to catch up.
Good luck!
