You must be sitting on top of the world, I wish I was 160 pounds, I can't wait!!
I know my doctor said the same thing about losing slower. I just don't want to get to a year anniversay and be disappointed.
thanks for your input.

April - you've done great!! It is amazing how long ago it seems and how scared I was pre-op. This is definitely a blessing in my life.

Hi Sue, thanks for responding to my post, I hope you are holding on to your weight loss. I have actually gained back some of my weight I am now back up to 195. I gain some and then loose some but never more than about ten pounds especially around my period. I am still doing the protein first, veges, then carbs and lots of water. I do not understand what is wrong. I'm now going to look into buying one of those recumbent stationary bikes so I can walk in the evening and try to add bike after ward or in the morning. Well I hope you get some sunshine soon so you can walk as well. take care and don't give up!
Topic: How do you format the font on this board
I can do it on the Forum message boards, (for example the RnY forum) but I don't know how to change colors and style on this board. I'm sure it's simple, but I haven't figured it out just yet.

John,
What's the collective total - we should keep adding as we lose more - correct?

Topic: RE: Okay...I admit it
Joh,
This is such a good and NICE idea - there are so many people who contribute to this forum, but I feel like you are the "soul" here - you are working hard for us to really feel like a special, cohesive group!
(BTW, thanks for surreptiously/virtually "talking" to my scale - it finally moved!)
I want to be a bigger part of this forum, and hope I make the next "frequent posters'" list!
After all, we May-ers know best what we are all going through!

Before surgery: 271
Last week: 156
This week: 154
This week's loss: 2 lbs.
Total lost: 117 lbs.
(Actually my scale said something different/better yesterday and today - but I usually wait for a few "occurences" before accepting it as a permanent loss.)

Hey mayers...
Had surgery May 9, 07 and original weight was 264 lbs as of this morning Im down to 138lbs so a total weight loss of 126lbs. Even though I wasn't a slow loser Im ready to stop losing now. Ive tried eating more, eating carbs (really just bread, I don't care for potatoes) and drink sooner after eating (which leaves me feeling miserable) so hopefully I won't lose anymore weight. So don't feel so bad if you are a slow loser cause you could be like me and can't stop losing.
