Hi Jamie, just wanted to tell you that I am praying for you. I had the surgery on May 29th, 2003. I almost couldn't have it done caue the night before my sugar level was at 412. I prayed a lot that night and by the time I had the surgery the next day at 1 pm it was still high but at 212. good enough for surgery. now I enjoy a normal sugar level of 85-100 and I've lost 30lbs in only 3 weeks. I feel great!. Don't worry, God is always in control. Trust in him, he will make it happen if it's his will. And remember, pray in the name of Jesus. He will hear you. God Bless.

My surgery isn't for another 16 days but I am sick with don't know what I am being treated for strep throat but don't know if it is. I have been on antibiotics for 5 days and thought I would have seen some improvement I did for one day now I am back to feeling awful I have been taking meds regularly I don't want anything to stand in the way of surgery I am so worried that I will not get better in time. Please someone help me pray for me anything I just can't have this put off.

I feel you girl! I can't wait to feel better, be able to fit into normal chairs without the embarrassment of the chairs being stuck to my hips when I rise. I am looking forward to being able to fit in a normal rollercoaster seat instead of standing in line for an hour only to not ride because my hips are too wide. That was at the weight of 285 lbs., five years ago. Now I'm weighing 348. My surgery is scheduled June 25. I can't wait to be on my way to my new, normal life. Good luck and God bless.

Great Tracey, I'm so happy for you! Please pray for me as I go onto the loosing side on June 27th at Medical Center East. I'm little nervous, but I no that God will take care of me. I'm just so happy for your down 19lbs. in 2 weeks. Keep doing good and take care of yourself.

My name is Suzanne and I had the surgery 3 yrs back lost 120 lbs and I
want to give you some great advice. Go to Costco and get MSM even before you surgery it is a natural
sulfur and will help you keep and grow your hair I also take 2 pre-natal vitamins not the kind you get just
at any store because the iron will constipate you so the health food stores carry vegatable based vitamins. I have had
lots of surgerys since my bypass....arm wings, breast reduction, two tummy tucks and back fat removed all paid by insurance.
You have to be assertive in what you want...I had the laporscopic and it is the best thing I could have done for MYSELF
please don't be afraid just call the Chaplin before your surgery and a peace will come over you remember it is the good Lord that has
led you this far keep the faith...suzanne
