Okay...I know it's been a loooooooooooong time but I can't believe how busy life has been. After our trip to Europe last summer our oldest son got married, I had hip surgery, 2 trips to Washington, 2 trips to Atlantic City (all work related), Junior prom to photograph, Thanksgiving, Christmas and a 7 day western carribean cruise!!! Whewww....I'm sure I forgot some things, but you get the idea. Things are going pretty well. I have been pretty much stuck at 152 lbs since March of last year and I think my body just doesn't want to give that last 25 lbs. I'm coming to peace with it. On the cruise I wore a bathing suit for the first time in I don't know how many years....I even went to the beach and let my husband take a picture of me in it. I didn't look half bad. We had a wonderful time. We went on a Disney Cruise over new years and it was the best vacation ever. Things are quieting down now at last. I've actually unpacked my suitcases and put them in the closet. Hopefully no traveling for a while. I have put my resume out there and hoping to get a steady paying job opportunity sometime soon. I love my photography but it has been become seasonal and I'm really doing mainly event work now, so I'd like a steady income. Cris wants to retire in 10 years and I'd like to get some money saved for that time also. So we can enjoy it. I do miss everyone and hope to get one here a little more often. WOW so glad you checked in with us maryjo! WOW a new boyfriend you so deserve that and its good for your well being. GLAD to hear you put on just a few lbs and are at a good weight that you like and are not worried at. LIFE sounds good for you and I am glad to hear that. Hi Wendy! Congratulations on reaching your milestone! I'm sure you're going to have a great time. I hear you on the body image thing. There are some days that I feel thin and others when I feel as fat as I was. It's so bizarre! I want to thank you for your personal email message to me. I guess I sounded desperate in my message to Mary Jo. I'm struggling big time and am afraid to weigh myself. I plan on weighing in at weigh****chers next Saturday. Hi MJ~ Nice to see you back on the board! Sounds like you're life is going smoothly...congrats on the new love of your life! I, like the others, would encourage you to still go see your surgeon for your 1+ year follow up. You never can be to careful...make sure all of the blood work is in order.
