I had a similar experience ... I was supposed to have surgery Aug.4th, but was blindsided by some last minute blood test results. Now I don't know when my surgery will be; probably end of october. Its very disappointing. I hope your surgeon gets you rescheduled asap. Good luck!

I knew thongs were going to smooth for me. Everything went well as far as insurance and tests. But my surgeon called me and said we have to pospone my surgery(which was Aug 8.) for a couple of weeks. He has some negotiating to do with his malpractice insurance company. He said everything will be fine and that someone will be calling me in a week or two for a new date. Hopefully it will be in the month of Aug.

Surgery date is Tuesday, August 5, 2003 at 7 a.m., and this time next year I expect to be dancing around all over the place, not just in my head. I'm so excited I may not sleep between now and the OR. Good luck to everyone, and may God Bless you, everything's gonna be just fine for all of us.

I have a date of august the 14th at Mercy Scripts in San Diego. . i am excited and scared at the same time. My son says he wants to go with me . he is 27 so i told him he can but i really wanted ot go alone. i am not even sure why. I live 200 miles from the hospital so i need to know what should i take to the hosptial? The doctor said i need to stay in san Diego for one week after the surgery so i am trying to get really perpared but do not want to over do it and take a van with the entire house. LOL I am praying for each and every one if you. God Bless you All.
