Hi Maryjean, I too have 5 days to go - My surgery is Aug 4 in Spokane WA - maybe we can keep in touch and see how each of us are doing. I know we are doing the right thing for our health, ourselves and our family and friends. I want to be around for a long time - and won't be if I can't get this weight off. So many health problems. Well August 5th is the big day for me, Had my pre-op yesterday, do blood work today and an Echogram tomorrow, I have a heart murmur and he wants to be sure. I'm in the need of an Angel won't somebody do this for me? I've been spending a lot of time in a State Park close to me sitting in the virgin pines it is so serene and really helps me relax. Hello Everyone, I'm still new to the boards, and find them very interesting. Well I finally got a date today. I'm scheduled for surgery on August 28th!! I'm so excited. It seems like it's taking forever, but when I look back, it's actually gone by really fast!! Wish me luck. And I wish everyone good luck with the surgery and a new slimmer life

Brenda You are almost there. I wish you a speedy recovery. I know what you mean when you say it seems so unreal. I've been working on this for so long it doesn't seem possible that I will soon be on the other side. I WISH YOU THE VERY BEST. Keep us posted on your successes.
