congratulations on your date!!! Pre-op was easy for me. Nothing to it just give some blood and an ekg. Ask any questions you might have. Anyway best of luck and I'm sure you will do fine. Getting this far was such a journey. Just keep thinking of how fabulous you'll look next year.

Had my pre-op appointment today and everything went great. Next visit will be my surgery date. I am getting very excited. I would like to think everyone who has sent well-wishes along my journey. This web site has been a wonderful resouce for me. I hope that everyone does well with their up coming surgeries!

I am so happy and excited. My surgery was scheduled for August 18th. I was so surprised that it all happened so quickly. I have so many things to do before then. Wish me luck!

Brenda, I hope you have a healthy and speedy recovery. My date is Aug. 8. I know you must be nervous being this close. I know when it comes to next Thurs. night I won't get any sleep. I will keep you in my prayers Friday as your start the losing side of your journey.

You are in my prayers for Aug 4 - as that is the day I am having my surgery. It is a very wise thing we are doing to get this weight off. Being the health care field ( I was in Radiology for 25 years - 10 as manager) I know the damage the extra weight is doing on our hearts. Best wishes to you - Say a prayer for me also. Vicky
