My surgery date is 8/18, as well. Since I got my date on 5/1/03 (which feels like a year ago) it feels like it's FINALLY getting closer and becomng real. Best wishes and see you on the losing side!

Hi Barbara! Congratulations on getting your date. I'm scheduled for August 21st also!!!!! Time is really starting to speed up now. All of my pre-op tests are scheduled and I can't wait to get them out of the way. Best wishes for a safe journey and speedy recovery! Joy Hart

Patricia, "CONGRATULATIONS" on your surgery date! i know it seems like forever, but try to stay busy if you can and just think how "GREAT" you will look, and better yet how "GREAT" you will feel. "Best Wishes"

Synthia that is wonderful! The surgery is a very long process. I believe it will be so worth it. I wish you a speedy recovery and lots of weight lose. My date is the 12th of August. I feel that I have been waiting forever.
