Topic: 5 Months out and Feeling GREAT!!!
Hello All,
I am sorry that I have not posted anything for a while. I am now 5 months post op and I feel wonderful. I am down 62lbs forever lost. I have learned not to be discouraged just because I do not loose lbs, b/c I am loosing inches. I have lost 12 pants sizes. I have also found things that I have not seen in years, such as a collar bone and ribs.LOL. I have also noticed that people that I have known for years are noticing the loss as well. I would like to wish all of you a very happy and successful NEW LIFE. I would also like to take this time to thank all of those have sent me well wishes and words of encouragement. I would love to hear from anyone with questions or comments so please feel free to email me any time. Thanks again to all and good luck to all new comers.
Thanks
Leigh

Gerri,
Congradulations on your weight loss.
I too am at 5 months post op, my weight loss is at 78 lbs, and I have 22 lbs to meet my goal. As you know the weight loss slows down quite a bit.
Just keep up the walking.
Best wishes
David

I would recommend this surgery to anyone. But don't forget you need to work out too. Haven't met Mr. Wonderful yet but I feel much better about myself since losing the weight so far and can hardly wait til it is all gone. Happy New Year and New You to everyone. Kathy
Topic: RE: My hair loss is bumming me out!
Try using Nioxin - you'll need to get the shampoo, conditioner and treatment that is best suited for your hair type. JC Penney's carries this, but cheaper if you know a beautician who can get it cheaper at the beauty supply shop. Use it everyday, and within 2 weeks you will notice the difference!!! Good Luck. HI. Don't fret. I was in the same shoes, I got a short cut, and that helped out a lot plus I drank an extra protein shake per day, and boy has it slowed up. sometimes very little. I can really tell the difference. Don't worry. You will be fine. I can stand losing my hair for a loss of 66 lbs thus far.
Good Luck
