Topic: 21 days to go and counting....................
Meet with the Medical Team at Northwestern'S Wellness Center. Learned what was going to happen day of surgery, the days following surgery and preparing my food once I am home. Glad I started early and learning about the different protien supplements, cutting down my food intake, increasing my phyisical activities and learning what foods I can have and can not have after surgery. The meeting today was a great help. More of my questions were answered. I was dreading the nasal tube being placed up my nose while I was awake. They will do it once I am asleep yah yah...yah
. Pre-op testing is scheduled for this coming Monday. I only need a EKG and physical. The only thing right now is I am at the end of a summer cold. Vitamin C - 1000 mg twice a day helped along with Hall's cough drops with VItamin C and ZInc. I feeling better. I am just waiting for August 27th to arrive and be on the winning side. Wow we'll be starting on the same day!! I'm so excited, nervous, and very very moody! I'm sure you can relate. My surgery is also on the 13th in Morgantown WV with Dr. Johnson. I will keep you in my prayers and hope you have a speedy recovery!!

My surgary was 5/21/03 and It was very sucessful and I am ver happy for all the prayers and support thank you all
