Hi Sunny, You look fabulose. Dont lose anymore weight. Your Dr is right, you look great just where you are. Can you believe the difference? You look like a different person. Keep it up. It will be a struggle now to keep it off, but Im sure you and all of us can do it. Soos 413 highest 238 now ??? I will be happy if I just dont gain any back !!!!!!!

Hey, Your pictures look great. I thought it was so weird that we had surgery the same day and I also weighed 218 the day of surgery. I am staying 115-118 right now. I am so scared that I am going to start gaining. Are you terrified of that also? I can eat so much more now than I did the first year. I really have to listen to my pouch. My highest was 220. Christie: Would your mother consider a lap band operation instead of the RNY procedure? I understand that the lap band procedure is much better for those who are older. There is little risk of malnutrition with it, since the intestines are not bypassed. The "pouch" is created by the lap band, and the procedure is reversible, if the patient wants. If you want more information, write me, and I'll put you in touch with my best friend, Sheryll Coleman, a surgeon's assistant in Birmingham, AL, and the lap band coordinator at Cahaba Valley Surgical Associates.
