No even when i was at 153 i was still slightly in the over wieght range i have never made it to "normal" and this gain as small as it is is getting me farther from there. I know we can gain it back and that really worries me. for the most part i have done things right and i am sure that this regain is from my PCOS problems and i will be seeing my dr about that soon however it dont really explain the weight loss stopping so soon. As for the photos I was at 153 in the last one and i liked it there (even tho i was not at normal bmi yet) I want to get back there or even a little lower to keep me in that range) Thanks Louis!

Exersize? these past few months no and i know that is one cause for the lil gain i have had. (but i am a ****tail waitress and run around a bar all night) Water? yes I am a water freak!! I am dealing with alot of PCOS issues right now and that is why i have had regain and i have to start meds for that problem (weight gain is the least of the problems that thing causes) however it is still odd and rare that i stoped losing at 7 months out. My BMI was (almost) in the normal range when i stoped losing but even at 153 i was still a little over weight (i am 5'4 1/2) I have knowen a good amount of people who stop losing around 14 months or so but no one who has stoped at under 12 months like me. Thanks Phil

Hello Sara. Just remember before I give my opinion, "I am not a Doctor". Is your BMI in the normal weight range? Has the 8 pounds that you gained affected your BMI? Have you commented this to your doctor? I saw pictures of you in your profile and you look great. I thank you for sharing with us. We all have to remember that just because we have lost excessive weight, we can still gain weight. Keep in touch and let us know the outcome.

I am 17 months post op and haven't lost any weight for 3 months. Everybody is different. Do you excersise? Drink lots of water? I have been guilty of forgetting what got me here and I have to force myself to return to the basics. It does seem however that whatever I do, I am not going to lose any more weight. Which is fine. I would like to know that if I wanted to lose another 10 pounds I could.
good luck
Phil

I have not lost a pound sence mid feb last year! It was not too bad cause i made it to 153 and was happy with that however in the last few months i have gained 8 pound, inpart from being more inactive during the winter but also from having some PCOS problems again. I am working at not gaining more and i hope to start losing again once i get PCOS under control again. I jest know that it is rare to stop losing at only 7 months post op. Am i alone on this one?
