That is funny. I think the good thing of keeping some old habits is that it reminds us where we have been and where we are. AND that makes us all feel GOOD!!! God bless you and keep on looking good.

Happy New Year to all my Aug. 04 friends! This last year and a half has been wonderful. There are times I forget how it was to be "fat". Rare, but they do come now and again. I have been loosing the same 5-6 pounds for past 3 months. My lowest weight is 152. Do want to get to 145. Found I can eat sweets without dumping! I never have them at home, only when I eat with a friend and we share, me 2 bites, them the remaing. It is another tool I have learned to use. 1. Start weight 276 2.Current weight 154. 3. Total loss 122-123, depending on the day! 4. Starting size 22-24 5. Current size top med, 12/14 bottom 6. Have I had PS? No 7. Will I? No. The tummy hangs, the butt hangs as well as under arms. The "girls" are gone! When I lay down, they hide under my arms! I bought an underwire padded bra hoping it would help, no luck! I stuff them girls in and what a laugh! I am flat down to top of bra, then they sink in and all I have is a padded bra! It is so funny. I attempted to explain the look to my daughter, she just did not get the picture, so I showed her. Pulled in the under arm flap, the nipples care out where I should have had clevage(sp), pushed them back in and the chest sunk! We both laughed 'till we cried. Never had so much fun when I was 274. Could not share or show anyone the me, now I love me and all the sagging parts. It's not a pretty sight, but it is me and I am healthy. Another cute story. Christmas at my daughter's. I dress with long black leather skirt, split up front and back to almost too far, black boots, nice fitting red sweater trimmed in leather, hair nice, my new look makeup. Even my grand kids popped eyes. Well in came the ex-hubby and his wife. Both stopped dead in their tracks. They could not keep their eyes off me all day! Was worth all the pain and suffering of wls. Those are the wonders of life. My ex left me 'cause I was too "fat". Well enough of me. Marla

I think we all have the "old habits"! ...large stall... ...looking at large and xlarge department, even 1x and etc... ...tables and not booth... ...hold my bag close, dont want to knock someone over... ...wondering who that person is reflected in the store window... ...buying larger jeans, cause I know I must wear a 16 instead of a 12... ...looking at the larger shoes, 9 when I wear an 8 now... and on the list goes.... Hang in the girlfriend! Marla 274/152.145

Hi Marianne! Here's my info... P.S. I checked out your goal pics. You look awesome. You've inspired me YET AGAIN to get back to the swings of things to get to my goal of 125. I'm currently at 135, so have 10lbs to go. Here's to high protein, lots of water and starting my jogging/gym routine for the new years *CHEERS!* 1. Start Weight: 255 2. Current Weight: 135 3. Total Loss: 120 4. Starting size: 22-24 5. Current size: size 9 (30 in jeans) 6. Have you had PS? Nope, but hope to this year if all works out. Want my tummy done and have breast augmentation. Would love to have my thighs/legs done...we'll see what happens. 7. Will you have PS? Looks like I may be able to this year. We'll see! 8. Are you still losing? No. Haven't lost in like 4months. I usually gain and lose the same 4-5lbs, which puts me from 130 to 135lbs. 9. What's the best thing about losing weight? Looking awesome in normal size jeans, clothes, etc. Playing dress up and feeling like I look SMOKIN' and not worried about hidding the fat behind clothes. 10. How's your lose skin? It's decent. My tummy is a little lose, but nothing major. I want a flat tummy, which is why I may eventually do the PS. Other than that, it would just be for aesthetic purposes, not really needed. Happy 2006 to everyone!

cool post... -buying clothes much bigger than I need. I still go to the back of a clothes rack to go for the XL's, eventhough I'm now at a Medium, even Small depending on designer -not wanting any piggy backs or people lifting me or else they're REALIZE how heavy I truly am. My housemate literally picked me up like nothing and I held on for dear life thinking he'd break his back for even trying. -going into the bigger stall in a bathroom to have more room and not be so crowded in there because of my size -still having the "how we hate diets" talk with women in the coffee room at work. I say how I still want to lose more weight, and they SNEER! hehe. I deserve that one since I'm down to 130lbs :P -weighing myself everytime I see a scale! I still weigh myself at least once a week to see how much I haven't lost! I've go up 5lbs one week, and drop it the next...my weight ranges from 130-135 since about 5months. -still say i have a big butt or look too big. Norma 255/130

Topic: RE: How bad...really?
Well I don't know, but I have had a c-section and have heard it is worse than that. And that was pretty bad. The gastric by pass was nothing compared to my c-section. I could use a tummy tuck and boob lift , but I am not that bad, I have lost 105 and weigh 115. I think I am going to stick to my tight panties! LOL I am just a baby about pain. Good Luck. Let me know how it goes. I really would like to know. Pain meds make me sick and so does being put to sleep.
