The time has come, I will be going for my surgery in the morning. So, I am off to bed, and a movie to keep my mind off of the surgery. Thank you all for this site. It has been such a great help knowing that other people out there know what I am going through. Thank you and my prayers will be with everyone that's having surgery tomorrow too. Rose

I'm new here also although I knew the board exsisted I never looked around until tonight, I wish that I had been here sooner. My time has went really fast I met with Dr. Stickler on June 19th finished up everything on July 13th and on August 4th found out I was approved for surgery (a day I will never forget) I go the Wednesday for my pre-op and while I try not to think about it too much I am a little nervous but I suppose that is normal but never the less I am excitied and can not wait to start my "new" life on the 22nd at 7:15am. So far I've lost 39lbs in 7 weeks, Dr. Stickler wanted me to loose 40 so I think that I can loose that last pound by Wednesday :-) Kim

Hello! I am fairly new here as well. My surgery is also scheduled on the 24th. I am in Washington State, but will be having my surgery in Tijuana, Mexico. In what part of the world are you? A friend, her husband, and I are all having surgery on the same day, in the same hospital, by the same surgeon! Another friend was going to accompay us, but she decided to have the surgery done locally. She had her procedure this past Friday. I think it will be fun for us all to be losing at the same time! Since you are having your surgery on this day, you can be an honorary member of our club! Karen
