That sucks about your hernia. I am sorry to hear it. I am happy for you that your able to get that TT next june. I can only wish. LOL 25 pounds away from your goal is awesome. Your doing great. I think 4 months is a pretty good thing to shoot for. Good luck getting in that protein and have a blast playing tennis.

We got back last week from our vacation in Colorado. It is in the mountains between Creede and Lake City. The camp ground is at about 9000 feet and is wonderful--sooooo cool and quiet. We go there almost very summer at least once. My new picture was taken there!! I was surprised that they got it up so fast.
Does any one else use a 5th wheel for trips? I love ours. We have had one for 20 years and take it everywhere. We are going to take it to Fort Worth next weekend and stay at Cow Town RV Park while we have a good time in the "big cities".
Have a great vacation anywhere you go!! Traveling is great, Sharon
P.S. Went to Playa del Carmen in 2002 and swam with the dolphins at Xelha---it was wonderful. I so want to go again as a much smaller person!! You will have a great time.

Had my 10 month follow-up and all is going well.... although my hernia is getting larger ;-( . I had hoped that I would be able to wait for the hernia repair/TT next june, but I fear my hernia may not let me wait that long. So, I have a renewed ergency to reach my goal... 25 more pounds! I would like to reach my goal in the next 4 months so that if I have to I am at goal for my hernia if it doesn't allow me to wait.
More protein and more liquids along with my tennis is the plan!
I will let you know what happens!

I started my summer by taking a vacation by myself (hubby couldn't make it
). I spent 3 nights in Orlando, 2 nights in Daytona, did a 2 night cruise to the Bahama's and then 4 nights in Cancun.
For the 4th of July, hubby & I spent a long weekend at King's Island in Ohio. Three weeks ago we took our grandson to the zoo, two weeks ago, we had a Indiana WLS picnic to go to, and last weekend we took same grandson to Holiday World in Santa Claus, IN. We still plan on going to one of our favorite camping places (that has cabins, bathrooms, and running water!).
I guess this is the year that I just want to 'do'!

I'm so happy for you!!! I can't wait to know how that feels to reach goal!!! And, by the way, your photo is BEAUTIFUL!

P.S. Keep letting us know how you're doing, you're an inspiration!

Congratulations sweetie! Doesn't that Century Club membership feel GOOD?! You are almost there!
I have 12 pounds to go to my unofficial goal. A weight of 136 will be normal on the BMI chart for my 5'2" height. After that I might like to lose another 10 or so but I will be on top of the world at 136.
I have had my PS consultation. I also have a gigantic hernia. My problem has been coordinating the two doctors. Also, they all acted like insurance would kick in for the PS but now not too encouraging. The PS doc just submitted a letter for my circumferential abdomenoplasty but not for my breast reduction/lift. Haven't heard back yet. I'm finding I have to be agressive to get what I want. No one is looking out for me! No big surprise.
Keep up the good work! XO, Sandy (268/148/136)

OK, Where is everyone going this summer OR where have you been? I am busy planning our family vacation to Playa del Carmen in the Yucatan Penninsula area of Mexico, we leave on August 22.
I am SO unbelievably excited to be planning excursions such as swimming with the dolphins, cliff jumping, snorkeling, visits to the mayan ruins with lots of walking . . . to say that life has changed vastly in the last year is quite the understatement!
How about y'all? What new adventures have you tried on vacation, or not?!

Ah girl you should ! I still to this day hate every pic I take. More of a mental block I guess
But it sure helps you see the differences made. Especially on those days to where you think you aren't losing enough or fast enough. Then it is all right there in front of you image wise. I can't wait to see your pics. You must post some

Deb, you look great! That is so cool, I am going try that also. I need to post some pictures, but I have never liked taking pictures. I don't feel that I am very photogenic, so I avoid the camera.
