Hey Yall, Im working at getting to goal by my one year anniversary. I was just wondering how many calories yall are eating these days. Are you guys still loosing? Today Ive eaten 823 calories so far, Im trying not to get over 1200 calories a day. Is that about what you guys are eating? With love, Em 238/153/135

I have lost 83 pounds, and it is coming off very slowly. I am enjoying energy and the ability to do so many more things. Sitting in an airplane seat is comfortable now, as is an auditorium seat. I am now free of reflux, as of the day of my surgery. I am very happy for all of us. Eileen

I received a calll last night around 11:00pm from a stranger in another state (the state where my son lives with his father). He told me that my mentally handicapped 14 year old son was found wondering around a local gracery store for over an hour with muddy clothes on and crying. This stranger took my son home, let him take a shower, provided him clothing, called the police and then called me. It is a very long story but I have been fighting my ex for custody of my child for three years. (never once has anyone come to my home to see if it was stable, asked about my finances, etc.) My son proceeded to tell me on the phone that he had been running around the neighborhood he lives in, playing all day, and he came home "late". He said his father shoved him out the door. The man who called the deputies had them call me and they told me they would be calling the Department of Childrens Service in that county. They did and the DCS called me around midnight last night and said they had to go talk to my son's father since he is considered the legal primary guardian. They promised to call me and let me know....I have been up all night and not the first call. I have called them back several times on numbers I was given to call and still not one returned phone call. It is too early in the state where he lives for any public offices to be open and the Sheriff's Dept says they do not know the disposition of the case until they hear from DCS. PLEASE keep my family in your prayers today....I am terrified for my son and plan to start hitting the phones hard in another hour when the offices start opening. I am terrifed and could use all your thoughts and prayers and will appreciate each and every one! My sincere thanks! Cindy W

Well judging by the way you talked about your family it doesn't suprise me that they were happy and bewildered. It is a new thing and since you've basically almost never been this weight they were getting to know you all over again for the first time. I have a dilemma like that. One of my sister's is thinner then me this I know and I know she has to weigh less. However she is like 5'4-5'5 and I am 5'8 so when she told me she was in a 14 and they just fit her and I am in a 12 and they are getting loose I just couldn't really get why. I guess it is a height difference or something. Since I am taller I can weigh 30-40 pounds more and be in a smaller size. Either that or I am missing the boat some where a long the line. I hope the reunion with the rest of your family goes just as great. Shannon
