Topic: Hello size 14!!!!!!!!
Basically, I had given up on weight loss. I figured I had already lost all I was going to lose - particularly since I started steroids. But tonight, I tried on all my size 14's - and they FIT!!!!!! I didn't even have to lie on the bed! LOL LOL
Anyway, I am so excited!!! 
I can't believe it. I still weigh in the mid 180's, but this weekend, a neighbor saw me and saw I told her that I weighed in the 180's and she didn't believe me! LOL She said I look like I weigh maybe 150 lbs!!! WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!! What a great compliment!!
Anyway, I am thrilled!!!
I see my surgeon again on the 14th of this month. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for an abdominoplasty.

What did you do to get over your stall? I've lost 118 lbs and need to lose at least another 100 lbs. At 8 1/2 months out I'm so afraid I'm not going to be able to lose the rest. I'm not really at a stall, just an extreme slow down. I'm losing about 1 lbs every week or two weeks.

Having a former pastor do a double take when he didn't recognize me when I was at the store and then hearing him say, "Wow, do you look great. You've lost a ton of weight."
Fitting in a theater seat and not worrying about bothering the person next to me.
Room between me and the steering wheel.
Being able to go up and down stairs without too much trouble (still have knee problems. Surgery hasn't really solved my arthritis problem.)
Being able to park away from the door at Wal mart, walk to the door and do shopping and not be sweating like a hog when it's over.
being able to do regular housework.
Having people stop me and say, "You're looking so good. What are you doing?" Watching their confused expression when I say, "Just not eating much."
Knowing I'm in control of my eating and that food does not control me.
Even though I have another 100 lbs to lose, knowing that the 118 I've lost is gone for good!!!!

Thank you Katie...we are so in love! And although I didn't make it to goal before the wedding, I felt so much better about myself that day!

Topic: "Plateau" or "Stall"----I hate them all
Hello September people,
I've gone from 370 to 250. And now I have stopped. Never in all
my long food history have I EVER stayed at the same weight for
a month. It was always either a diet or a binge.
Well it's time to stop fighting this myself and ask those who are
fighting right along with me. Beating myself up is not really considered
exercise.
Which brings me to the real issues. So far I have not needed to
exercise. Okay that's over now. And the water has to increase ( I have one cup of real coffee a day) past 60 oz. And is anybody/everybody eating carbs? I don't mean orange juice with the protein powder, I mean maybe toast in the AM or popcorn at night?
........What were those rules again?

My doc never gave me a goal. I asked him about having one last month and he said my body will quit losing when it's ready to. Go figure?

oh wow you look really good ... dont worry about my size for some odd unknown reason i hide the flab really well.. i always have been ... but trust me i dont wear those 13/14 outside the home bc the rolls on my thights stick out... which is really gross...lol i think the one of the good parts is i can sit back and joke with SUPERMAN about all the flab and pull on it and all and still laugh... Gee dont tell the shrink she might think i am unstable... lol welp anyway take care and by the way ur little one is adorable.
