Topic: BIG CHANGES!! THANKS TO YOU!
At 8 months postop, there is so much to be thankful for. I am on 2 pills a day instead of 30; I no longer have high bp; I can walk without a walker; and I can buy clothes off the rack instead of special ordering them. I am so thankful to God, My Family, YOU GUYS!, and my doctors. Although my health is improved, I still struggle with the bipolar and fibromyalgia. I went for my repeat sleep study (to get rid of the CPAP) and although my oxygen levels are much better, I writhed in pain throughout the night due to that "dull ache in my joints." My technician said I moaned and rubbed my legs in my sleep!!!
But, I FEEL SO much better!
I am beginning to fight the head hunger again. ULGH! I work out regularly and actually enjoy it! Thanks again to all of you who have supported me!!!

What a great moment for you! I had a similar one yesterday in the bathtub. I actually had water on either side of my legs instead of just tub. Congrats on your success.

First, your new pic looks amazing! I will pray for your well-being. My best friend has debilitating RA and is on SSDisability. She is always in lots of pain, however, her faith keeps her positive. I also have Fibromyalgia. It was so bad a year ago (at 318 pounds) that I used a walker, showerchair, and pottychair. My weightloss has greatly improved the pain, but........... it didnt go away. There are still days (and sleepless nights) where I cry and writhe in pain. I have found (after NOT believing it to be true) that warm water aquatic therapy helps me IMMENSELY. With fibro, my rheumatologist says the worse thing to do is NOTHING. I also found doing pilates exercises at home (on my bed) helped too. My PT gave me a list. I hope you can find some relief. I empathize with your pain b/c it seems there is little help that works. I will keep praying for you.

Well, it's worth the wait.
It was WONDERFUL!! I loved it. It seemed like I sat on the edge of my seat for most of it. It was very intense.

My weakest spot is not drinking enough water. I hate water, so I drink Fruit 2-O, but I still don't get enough in each day.

Topic: New word
I had a meeting for work today and saw so co-workers I haven't seen in 2 months, they were so shocked at my progress and gave great words on encouragement. And then my co-worker used a new word to describe me, she said that I was "tiny".
, how cool is that

What an awesome feeling!!
I felt that way the last time I flew...never had so much room in the seat before. I'm glad the movie was good. I am dying to see it, but I made a pact with my husband to see it together (he's tdy at a warfare training thing until next week).
Congrats Again!!

Topic: My back side didn't touch the sides!!
This was almost bittersweet (since I know there is a good chance I'll be gaining weight soon), BUT it did feel great.
I went to the movies today to see the Star Wars III movie. And for the first time in my adult life, I sat VERY comfortably in the movie chairs. My back side fit completely inside the seat, and my hips did not touch the sides of the chair.
I didn't have to roll my arms inward to avoid touching those around me. It was GREAT!!!
And the movie was phenomonal!!!
What a truly good surprise.

My weakest point is seeing all of the hot young studs in the gym as I exercise and not really being able to do anything about it yet because I am sagging all over because of extreme weight loss. My advise to you is to get to loving going to the gym and walking daily and it will not be a drag you will actually look forward to it.
