That was great!! Thanks for sharing, I can't wait to send it on to some great women--and daughters!!
I have been fine, thanks for asking the other day. It seems I just lurk most often these days and just read alot. I am still losing at a comfortable rate and would happy the rest of my life right where I am!! I am not sure what I weight now since it has been a month since I have stepped on a scale but the last week my clothes seemed to have "grown" again, if you know what I mean lol. I hope you and everyone else is doing well too. We need one of Sue's Monday polls again, and I will try to answer this one. I really love this board and all on it. I look with great pleasure to see each and everyone of you all's names on posts.
Here is to a great bunch of losers!!

Hey Sweetie - Glad you came out of the closet, LOL! I think you would be surprised at how thoroughly common hemmorhoids are! My friends and I all have them from pregnancy and childbirth. We all complain to one another. When I have a flare up (usually from straining/constipation) I use the suppositories for a few days/soak in warm tub, use gentle wipes, and that usually does the trick. I've heard some people have them "lanced." Not sure what that is but the cure sounds more painful than the condition! Good Luck! Hugs, Sandy

Our support group is having a fashion show! The local Dress Barn lets us pick out clothing to model. They bring it to group that night and if we decide to buy our outfit we get a 30% discount! I am going to be one of the models so I just spent 2 1'2 hours at dress barn trying on clothes. I picked out 3 outfits. How cool was that.
Size 12! One pair of slacks was size 10!
I got to get some pictures of this. I'm so excited!

Hi Sue
I'm back, had a wonderful time up in Cortland and I have to admit I DID cheat, but now I must get back on track and get away from sampling. First thing tomorrow I have a date with the scale! Could not resist the wonderful Italian cooking by my Brother-In-Law's aunts. Anyway, I was hurt because I have not seen my sister-in-law since way before my surgery. From the time we arrived at her house on Saturday and left early this afternoon she NEVER ONCE ACKNOWLEDGED my weight loss. It was like nothing ever happened. Her inlaws did tell me how "thin" I was but nothing from S-I-L. This was the first time I have ever encounted someone not commenting on the 105 lbs I lost. Oh well.
Glad to be back!
Marianne

Topic: RE: poll: what are your favorite foods these days?
I still LOVE the high protein hot chocolate. I drink one EVERY day. I also bought some new protein bars (chocolate and coconut) from the doctor that I really like. I don't eat them every day, but I COULD!!! Oh, "sugar-free double bubble" bubble gum. I've never been a gum chewer, but this stuff is GREAT, and gives me that "chewing" feeling when I shouldn't be eating anything!!! I eat yogurt most every day, and I am enjoying salad with cheese.
Love and Hugs to all, Pam

Well, welcome to the "rhoid" club!! Most of our members are "anonymous" for reasons that I don't have to go into!! LOL You poor, poor, baby!! They "hurt" don't they? I'm glad that you finally "admitted" what they were and are trying to do something. I agree that you should talk with your doctor, but in the meantime, I personally like the "suppositories" (blush, blush,) better than the cream. I also use aloe vera which is very soothing and seems to speed healing. I have no idea why you are having them now, unless you are doing some type of heavy lifting, but pretty much "anything" can cause them. Pregnant women get them a lot because of the extra "pressure"!!
Do talk to your doctor and know that they will get better eventually!!!
Love and Hugs, "Anonymous"
