Topic: RE: getting discouraged !!!!
hi teresa,
i would say 2 things -
1st of all, you lost 58 #'s before you even had your surgery! plus everything since your surgery for a grand total of 138 #'s!!! that's fantastic. your body is probably needing a rest for a bit!
also - i wonder about whether you might be retaining water - i wondered if the foods you were eating might be higher in salt? just a thought.
you're doing so well - don't be discouraged!

Dem Bones! Me too. I just noticed in church yesterday that it hurt to sit back against the pew. It seems Dem Bones in my back don't care for unpadded chairs. Dem Bones are so used to having padding
Then there is the sitting in the bathtub bones.
It seems Dem Bones have no soft layer of fat to lean on!
It seems that Dem Bones between my bosoms(what there is left of bosoms)have been peeking out! I keep thinking I have an unnatural growth there.
Then there are Dem Bones in my knees, in my ankles,on my shoulders. They are all protruding. Wanting to get out and reach for the sunlight which they have not been able to see for 30 years. Almost like they are finally relieved that I am letting them come to the surface! The hips! I keep feeling them to make sure that is what they really are.
Oh Dem Bones!
Thanks, I loved this post!

Yep, I know what your talking about too, I just realized I have ribs again. The other big noticable thing is I have a protruding sternum (just the way I was born), that was always self concious about growing up. You know the looking different thing, well now that I am down 108 lbs the protruding sternum is back and I have never been so proud or happy to see anything in the 33 years of my life.

Funny that you mentioned bones- I usually sleep in the fetal postion but now it hurts to put my knees on top of each other because of the bones!! Who would of thought this would of been something I would notice and then I get on here and you are talking about it!!!

Topic: Relacore!!
I LOVE this stuff! Relacore is marketed as a "stress mitigating compound" that helps reduce belly fat by limiting your body's production of cortisol. It also helps reduce stress, anxiety and improves energy levels.
I could tell a NOTICABLE difference in my stomach in one week.
Plus, this is one of the BEST vitamin complexes I've found.
Two capsules contains
Vitamin C 333 mg
thiamin 5mg
riboflavin (B2) 5mg
Niacinamide (vitamin b3) 17 mg
Pyridoxine (vitamin b6) 17 mg
vitamin B12 3.3 mcg
Biotin 50mcg
and others.
Many of the vitamin allowances exceed your daily requirements. I take it twice a day, and I have more than enough vitamins. (Plus I take another one called "Hair" that I bought at Walmart)
Anyway, I thought I'd share. This stuff really works for me. I CAN tell a difference in my stomach. . . in just a week's time.

I know what you mean. My husband jokes around with me all the time. He always tickles me and says "ribbage, hippage." It is kinda funny. My collar bones stick out. It is kinda neat. Those bones were so darn buried, they are probably in shock protruding like that!!!! Great job.

Good morning. First I wanted to say that you are doing great. I have had 4 plateaus that literally lasted over a month a piece. I have only lost a little over 60 lb. and I had my surgery 09/02/04. I eat right and exercise like crazy and only 60 lb. However, my physician said that I am doing great. So, I have to accept that. I did want to tell you that we have a camp in Dubois. Maybe we can get together next time I get up that way. Do you belong to a support group or anything? If you need anything, just e-mail me. Take a deep breath and keep on going!!!!
