Yup...I have the sprouties too...now they're getting to the length where they go where they want. Had a bit of an Our Gang Alfalfa moment this morning...argh! Oh well, it's one of those not so great things that I can definitely live with if ya know what I mean.

I'm also planning to keep counting and watching everything. I'm right with you on getting to goal I'm 15 lbs. away. I would not mind going lower if I can because my surgon said the range for me was 143-123 lbs. So we thought the middle ground would be a good spot !!! I went to see the nutritionist and was told I need to up my calories I'm still at 800 and need to get to 1200 at some point. I still don't know how I'm going to do it ???? Where are you with your calories ????

I drink 3 protein shakes a day for a total of 90 grams of protein. I recently had a stall wth weight loss and tried eating every 2 or 3 hours to increase my calorie intake. It really helped. I lost 3 lbs in 4 days. My biggest problem is getting in enough calories. I also don't get enough water in each day. I am working on that also.

Topic: Kind of yucky "?"
Hi All,
Just wondered if anyone has had this yucky problem, as it is new for me. I have been doing really well with weight loss in the past month, but this past couple of days has been a trial.
Since Wednesday evening, I have had the most awful smelling burps, kind of a rotten eggy smell. I did eat raw cauliflower and tuna w/egg salad that day, which does this to me sometimes, but usually only for an hour or so after eating. Well, this has continued through till now, and it's awful! My family doesn't want to talk to me right now, for fear that I'll burp on them!
So I don't know what's up, but this is embaressing and I want it to stop. Any ideas?

I to am sorry your hubby is being a "poop" Mine also checks the balance of the check books and complaines. As I am still loosing weight I shop at a local Consignment shop. I got a great pair of size 14 jeans just a month ago for only $5.00. Today I got a size 8 from the same place for $5.00 as well. I have had to buy some good clothes for work, but I grow out of them so fast that it is ( what a problem to have!
) no fun to go shopping at the regular store......just YET!
my hubby and I also had a rough spot... I am not sure why, but I did feel that maybe he was jealouse of my weight loss. He is the one that can loose 20 pounds just thinking about it. but in the past year or so has gained some. ( 6'2 and about 220) We also moved to a new state for his job so the stress of it all has been hard on all of us. I thought we were heading for a divorce. He is also not happy with the many medical appointments I have had since surgery ( complications and diabeties still as problem) New isnurance.... so much of thisis considered pre-existing conditions with limited coverage for a year. He and out children are very healthy. so this has always been a hard issue for him. We are now seing a therapist and things seems to going fine. I also was able to get a new job in my field and now that I have my income again, I think he feels less responcible for the total family picture.
I do hope you and your hubby can find a happy meeting point. It would be so sad to loose so much more than the weight.

I'm right with you!! I'm going through the stall/plateau right now for several and feeling frustrated. It's hard to get so much water and enough protein. some docs' recommend 60 grams of protein - I know that is alot but we have to concentrate on that protein..if not our hair fallout will be big...you're doing good on the exercise..but i tell ya what im telling myself - let's keep doin the right thing and hopefully this stall will pass for both of us!

OMG..it seens we're all going through the same thing!!! I'm feeling frustrated about my stall..im thinking im not getting enough to eat and in starvation mode since i've upped my exercise then eating 5oz 3 times a day..the last 2 days have upped my food intake a bit but still the same...i hate this!! It's hard getting all the food and liquids that you need to...it seems that I (we) think more about food then ever before!!

That's about where I was at your point, and I was eating more than liquids. I'm sure you're ok, call your doctor if you are concerned, and also check the March '05 board if you aren't already and you'll probably find a few others that are at the same point as you. Good luck!

In my opinion, based on what you are doing, everything is just fine. Your body is playing catch up and the weight loss will start again. Try not to worry. Plateaus and stalls just happen sometimes. I think you're doing great!

i am 4 weeks out and i have only lost 26lb i am still on full liquids i try to get all my proteins and water in i thought i would lose faster then this am i not eating enough help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
