My gosh Leslie, I don't know how you do it. I am such a wimp when it comes to pain and to be in chronic pain 24/7 must be so hard. ((((((((BIG HUGS)))))))))**not squeezing to hard...I don't want to hurt you**I hope your pain doc can help you manage your pain. Please keep us updated. I'll throw a few prayers your way as well. Hey, but going from a size 24 to a size 16 is awesome. You are doing great when it comes to weight loss. Hang in there kiddo and I hope you feel better really really soon. Erin

Hi AmyBee! You are doing great. I lost a total of 90 lbs and just have 30 more pounds to go before I am at my goal weight. I have definately slipped...pretty bad too. But I came back to this great group because I realized I cannot do this alone. I too, need to up the exercising. But a gym is out of the question. I can't afford it and I just don't have the time availability to go. I have a 2 yr old and a 6 year old. Sitters aren't easy to get either. But I do enjoy walking so once the weather cooperates here, I will put my daughter in the stroller and my son on his bike and we'll go walking. I enjoy walking. Its great exercise. But doing Ok. I am still having slips but I am doing better. I have lost too much now to screw it up by sabotaging myself. I agree with you too that this is the best thing I could ever have done for myself. My knees don't hurt anymore. I can actually RUN up a flight of stairs and not need my inhaler by the time I reach the top. I think my lungs are happy with me too...ROFL.... Good Luck and lets KEEP BEING LOSERS.... Love, Erin Open RNY 9/2/04 sw 241 lbs cw 151.5 lbs gw 123 lbs

Wow! Jenelle you did give ugly a much better meaning. I love that!! Thanks ladies! Has anyone heard for Wesie? I was thinking of her lately and wondering how she was doing. Wesie! If you are out there please post.... I didn't recognize you ladies. You ladies look great!! I need you all so much and I cannot do this without you either. Its frustrating too, when people say you shouldn't lose more. I do want to say "Listen, you don't know what I need to do". "Outsiders" just don't get it. We will get to our goals and overcome any obstacles. We will stick together and get through it. I feel like I just came home again. J Goldinger! Where the heck are you girlfriend?! Erin

Hey Erin, it's Jae again!! I'm extremely busy like you. I work full timeM-F and I go to school full time M-Th and Sat. I bought a walk away the pounds 3 pack DVD set form walmart. It's by Leslie Sansone and it has 1,2 and 3 mile dvd's and a stretchy band to work your arms while you walk. I'm up to the 3 mile and it takes less than an hour to complete. If you can't find it at walmart, they have it on ebay. It's not expensive. Good luck.

Hey Erin Good to see ya back!! Congrats on your 90 pounds!!! You go girl!! I understand what you mean. I'm @ 190ish (that time of the month) right now and everyone is telling me how good I look and how I should stop where I'm at. But this is more of a personal goal to myself to be @ 180. Yeah it's only 10 lbs, but dammit I want them gone!! Have you noticed that since you lost weight, your body is different than it was before you got fat? I'm weigh less than when I graduated from high school, but my gut wasn't this big and I can't fit some of the clothes I had back then. GO FIGURE!! Well anyway, try to think positively, you've given yourself an awesome gift!! You are fantastic!! UGLY has become my favorite word because I made it work for me. It means: U. Gotta. Love. Yourself!!! I wish you, and that beautiful butterfly that's inside of you waiting to get out, continued success!! ~Jae 275-190-180

I am doing a lot better than I was a few months ago. I had terrible back pain. I receive physical therapy and it has done wonders. I just had to remember my posture. My back muscles were weak from my weight loss. I am so gratefull for this surgery. I have lost a total of 101 lbs. I lost 18 lbs preop and 83 lbs after surgery. I hope to lose 28 more but if i don't I am still very gratefull. I started out in size 22/24 and now I am in 14's. Congradulations on your weight loss! Lisa 279/178/150

Wow, you've really been through it. How do you take meds that work with your surgery. I mean there are so many meds we aren't supposed to take. Hope everything works out for you. I'll say a prayer for you, for sure. But you're so right, being a size 16 and having all of this is much better than being large and having all these problems. So, one problem down, several more to go. You can do it!
