I had my surgery on nov. 15 too. I am down 80 pounds and I do the same thing I will bounce up and down the same 5 pounds and then all of a sudden bam I go down again. I had a long stall for about a month and a half. I wa sso down too. But we will lose it I keep telling my self, It will come off don't worry. I just see other people and the same weight as me and they look better but I am so short. I'm only 4'11". So my 160 looks different than somebody else's 160. Ok I hope I helped alittle. Have a good day.

How often are you weighing yourself? Please see my post "I can't stay off the scale". If you are doing all the right things (and it looks like you are) then just weigh in once a week and let it go. I feel so much better and notice more of a difference if I just stay off the darn scale. Yes...we all understand the emotional rollercoaster that this journey provides. It's not easy so hang in there...and don't forget to remember where you came from (311 in your case). You are truly do amazing work!:kiss:

Angel;
I also had my surgery on 11/15. I was really good about only weighing 1x/week for my first 3.5 months. In the last month and a half, I've started weighing 4-6x/week. I think you're doing great! You're already on the verge of Century Club!
Are you using fitday.com or keeping track of your food in anyway? When I've had stalls, I've been able to go back and look at what I was eating and make some assumptions about how that's affecting my loss. For me, I lose more when I'm not as strict on my carbs as some folks recommend.
Also, when I had my surgeon follow-up two weeks ago, my surgeon said at this far out, I should be losing at 8-10 lbs./month. This past month, I lost 11, so I'm happy with that. The previous two months, I had lost 7 and 9 lbs. respectively.
Remeber, we didn't gain it all overnight. We can't expect to lose it overnight.
Blessings,
Jennifer
