Thank you for the encouragment. That's exactly what I needed to hear! I know what I have to do, but as always I was looking for the easy way! Help keep me on the straight and narrow!

Been there, done that--hated the insurance wait. I do pray for a speedy approval & a date for surgery.

Definitely! Today I hadn't eaten until about 3 for various reasons then I decided on one of those Clam Chowder soup to go cups. I drank the whole thing!! And I could have had more! Scary.. I don't like that feeling at all.

I can eat 1/2 - 3/4 of a cup of chili or soup, depending on the texture and consistancy. For soup/chili I measure and allow myself only 1/2 cup now. I don't want to stretch my pouch - I know it takes a lot of over eating to do that, but I don't want to take any chances so I'll stick with measuring every portion! E--

Soups run through you quickly, kinda like water does... they don't keep you full for long. Chili should keep you full... but I have noticed I can eat more chili than most any other foods.

Does anyone know... if we are eating soup, does it REALLY COUNT as "eating"?? I mean, for the "WAIT 30 min. to drink" rule... I guess I'm trying to justify drinking after soup But soup is LIQUID!!! I get sooooooooooooooo thirsty!! My favorite soup right now is Tomato soup!! YUM And I'm loving watermelon, I can eat a LOT of it!! But its LIQUID, too! I should be able to drink soon afterwards...

I know what you're feeling, Sonya. I recommend calling the insurance reps soon. I waited two weeks, and that was too long, to find out a denial is coming via mail, there is a pre-existing clause, and more paperwork to provide. Now I'm back to square one and submitting everything again. I'll pray for you and please pray for me,too, we've jumped through so many hoops already.
