I HAVE MY DATE 3/15/04
Carley, congratulations on your fabulous weight loss! Great job! I was nervous about Phase III as well. It is wonderful, however, to begin adding items back into your diet. I tell myself to eat the things I need to eat in order to meet my daily minimum protein and water requirements and then think about consuming some of the things I might really like. You know what? I don't usually have room for those things.
I was worried about trying things that are borderline okay and/or eating too much. But my pouch really helps me control those tendencies. As long as I eat my protein first and drink my water, I'm good!
You'll be fine!
- Stephanie

like someone else said if you listen to your pouch you are generally ok - we hiked this am then stoped at sonic for breakfast - the only thing from there I can eat is about 1/3 of a corn dog (up from 1/4 LOL) my husband got an egg buritto and wanted me to taste it - as I brought it to my mouth I could smell the eggs and KNEW I would be
if I tasted it - so listen CAREFULLY and learn to grab a napkin and spit food out if you feel like your don't really want to swollow it - ok so maybe emily post will tell me that is bad manners but I HATE being sick so I have gotten pretty good at it and at resturants with cloth napkins I ask for extras -they normally give you extra paper napkins esp if you have kids with you. and I have spit out a LOT of food over the last 7 weeks but it sure helps if you know you don't have to swollow it

Wow, Carley -- You are doing so well! Congratulations! I attempted to move to phase III - but had quite a bit of nausea so I am stickingto phase II an additional several weeks. I was just in to the surgeon and he said it takes some people a bit longer to heal -- so I'm waiting a bit. I think your pouch will respond quickly of you're not ready. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you'll have no problems at all
Sincerely, Becca

I've lost some of mine, last I measured about 4 inches. Thing is weird I can wear my same bras. The way I figured it at first when they started getting smaller, (because you can definately feel they are smaller and my hubby definately can tell they are smaller) I figured ok, the bras still fit, but they were actually fitting! I wasn't bulging out the top, sides or back. But now I'm 'having the problem where it feels like the bra fits when I put it on, but I'm adjusting myself all day long. I'm tugging here, pulling there etc etc. I think even though the bra seems to fit, it really doesn't, its too big. I need a smaller size so that it holds the girls in place. They definately feel smaller, but they still are heavy. The bras I have are 54 or 56 DD. I did try two weeks ago bras on at the store (hubby wanted me to try on the sexy red and purple ones lol) and I was able to fit in 48DD and 50DD. So i think maybe in a week or two, I want to wait for this next wait drop, I'll then maybe buy one or two new ones in a smaller size.
I hope they don't get too small! I know my grandmothers and my one aunt were all not heavy and had pretty full breasts, so hopefully I just go to a nice size at some point when things round out in the end.
