Hey Heather, Don't trip if you find yourself eating stuff from time to time that is not part of the plan, but I do have to say if you want results, you are going to have to work at it. Let me put to you straight, get your ass in gear and work out a few days out of the week, cut back on the chocolate. It is ok to snack on it sometimes, but not all the time. There are sugar-free stuff on bariatriceating.com if you want to snack on cookies and chocolate, etc., but make sure that it is sugar free. I decided to limit the beer and when I do have a beer, I do have the lite stuff but very little. I do drink sometimes, but usually ****tails that have no carbonated drinks in it. Once in a while I'll have like sugar free and fat free cookies, cakes, and candy, but I limit my intake. I make sure that I always get my vitamins, calcium, and proteins, etc, before I decided to have a night of partying or be "bad" well hope that this info was useful and if you fall off the wagon once in a while, just remember to talk to a group member for support and don't listen to people who want to talk down to you for being a human. Don't listen to ex fatties who are haters, but to people who care, empathize, and can help. Keep up the work on the weight loss. Take care and god bless. Dee

This is my first time on the messagboard, so bear with me! I am so glad to hear that I am not the only one falling off the wagon, or testing the waters (so to speak). My weightloss has come to a halt for the past 3-4 weeks. But, I must admit, I have not been compliant. I feel like I am eating all the time. I can't eat much at one time, but when you spread it out over the entire day it seems like a bunch. I have also started eating chocolate again. I am cursed in the sense that it often doesn't make me feel horrible. I have not been drinking my water, getting in my protein, or excercising! Please save me from myself. It's not that I want to fail, but it's kind of like the honeymoon is over and it's not fun anymore. I have lost 60 pounds, but I still have 40 more to go. I feel shameful to even admit this!

Hi All My 6 mo. check up is on the 17th but this is where I am at... Started at 330 lbs., squeezing into 28 pants more likely 30 would fit better. Always looked for tops that were at least a 3X but again 4X were more comfy. I am now wearing 22 size jeans and tops range comfortably with 2X. I weighed in at 257 lbs. this am. I am off all pre surgery meds with the exception of a low dose of Lipitor but hope to go off that when I go in for my 6 mo. check up. I still feel that I am a VERY SLOW LOSER BUT HEY ANYTHING IS A PLUS AS LONG AS I AM NOT GAINING!!! Good Luck to ALL!! LBills

Hi folks. I still have 2 more weeks until the 6 month mark, but I'll update anyways. I am down 75lbs from 255.5 to a current 180.5. My goal is to weigh 140lbs. I started in a 20/22 W and now wear a regular 14 or a large.

Hi All. I've lost 74 pounds and today I hit WONDERLAND weighing in at 199. I'm not sure about measurements. I have wrote them down once a month but have not added it all up recently. I was wearing a 26/28 in pants and 3x tops. I now wear 18's and 16's depending on if they made it with that wonderful stretchy stuff. Congrats to each and everyone of you. Katrina

Hi everyone! I have lost 92 lbs. I have lost about 53 inches. I've gone from a 24/26, 3X-4X to a 14-16, L/XL. Bottoms are smaller than tops as usual; I'm an apple, although my lower tummy is starting to stick out more than my upper tummy - a real change from my before pix where it looked like I was pregnant! Last time I wore a 14 was 1988 (very briefly). Sunday is my anniversary so I'll be taking more pictures and measurements then. I weigh only once a week so I'm hoping to be down a few more for the official 6 month numbers! My profile has a preop-3mo-5mo combination picture. I hope to change my message board picture this month. A friend of mine said it was about time. No complications. I see my surgeon on the 15th so I'll find out how my labs are doing. My insulin dose is down 90% from 345 U/day to 36 U/day with a perfect A1C. On 1 BP med instead of 2 and no longer on Lipitor for cholesterol. And I didn't lose my hair! No major plans for the summer. But maybe I'll have the energy to keep those weeds in check this year, , . Kathy

Hey! I'm down 67 lbs, 27 inches (not counting my chest cause that's just TOO depressing) and my BMI puts me in the 'overweight' category. I've lost 55% of my weight and I have 40 to go to reach the Dr's goal, 50 to reach my goal. I was wearing size 28/30 pant, 3x top, 42 overflowing D...now I'm a size 18 pant (IF I can find some that fit properly), JUNIORS! L or XL top, and 36 barely C. Each time I reach a mini goal I reward myself with something...a pedicure, new piece of clothing, something to celebrate just for me. Something else I am doing for me and I didn't think it would ever happen this way is I go to the gym 5 days a week. It started as a "have to cause the Dr says so" activity, now it's a "have to because I want to feel good today" activity. It is truly the only time in the day that I have to myself and I enjoy it immensely. One thing I want to try to do this summer is learn to ride a bike and take my kids to some bike trails. Down 76 lbs from my consult (291), but only 68 lbs since surgery (283)...weighing in at 215 lbs. Still 75 lbs from goal.I know I've dropped over 40 inches since January, but didn't take measurements before that. I'm in a size 18 or Xl depending, wearing some L pants, down from an 11 shoe to and 8 1/2 narrow, from a 54F bra to a 44DD and from a 10 ring to a 7 1/2. I'm in the middle of a bout of gastritis, have been for over 2 weeks, it was diagnosed last Friday via a scope, so I'm pretty much stalled. Ye' ole starvation mode since I haven't been able to keep anything down. Starla
