Yes, I have lost lost of hair. I am 6 months post op and I started losing about 2 months ago. I bought a plastic drain thing from walmart that catches all the hair that falls. AFter the shower, you just take out the hair and throw it. I have no problem with clogged drains. I have noticed that my hair is starting to grow back. I am not losing as much hair now. Thank-goodness.. will all the hairloss, i was surprised i still had hair on my head.

I had the lap band surgery. I have lost 73 lb based on my old scale and 67 lb based on my new scale. (I like the old scale better.) I have gone from a size 22 to a 14-16. My weight loss is not as strong as with RNY, but then again, it's nothing to sneeze at!

Yes I have hair loss it started a 1.5 months ago. I am still losing some from the back of my head but the areas in the front that were thinning are starting to grow back already. So dont be scared. It comes back. I noticed most of my hair loss in the shower because the strands are as long as the hair on my head. My hair along my temples thinned but nothing scary, it was noticable to me and a few people that see me everyday but my husband didnt think it was bad. As I said before it got to thin it is growing again. Make sure your bodyhas its protein and the shock of the surgery ( hair loss) wont be very long.

OK I have lost 74lbs. I have been on a plateau this last month. I have lost 11 inches. I have gone from a size 30 to a very comfortable 18. I love exercise since it doesnt hurt now to do it. I weigh 230 now and want to be a 25 BMI which for me would put me at 185lbs. So realisticaly I just want to see a 1 in front of my weight. Everyone says I look fantastic now just to convince my head.

Yes Jasmine, I have lost and continue to lose a lot of hair. It was also looking pretty limp and sad. I am not surprised as for the first three months I was pretty much continually nauseous and couldn't eat much of anything without throwing up. Now that is over, I'm doing great, and yesterday I got a perm and a trim. I love it. It looks so much better it's amazing. I really don't think we can do much besides eat a lot of protein, take our supplements, and wait it out. It will grow back, so I am told!

lost 92 lbs. Before surgery I weighed 242. 6 months later, I weigh 150. From size 22/24 to 14. I struggle with making good food choices all the time. overall, I feel good. Today, as I was driving to work, I looked down at my legs and realized that I am average now... I smiled to myself. Thank-goodness!

Ok here we go, I have lost 95 lbs, and 50 inches, I went from a tight 24 to a 14 pants, and a m to l shirt. I weigh 158, my goal is 130, maybe lower all depends.
I am feeling great, getting alot of compliments, and also riding bike which I have not done in about 20 years or so. I was like a kid the first ride I was on. It was so fun.
