Hello, I had surgery November 2cnd, and about 7 weeks ago my hair was falling out..lots and lots andlots I was a wreck!
It has calmed a lot. And I only notice it when i wa**** even then it's not half as bad.
So it does get better.
I began taking 2 prenatal vitimis a day, not sure if it made a differance.

Wow, can I ever relate to this one!!!!
I noticed my hair loss at 3 months out... obese hampster in the shower, clumps in my hands, hair all over my clothes, pillow, carpet, etc... but noone else seemed to notice. UNTIL NOW! At almost 5 months out, other people are noticing BIG TIME! My boss pointed a "bald spot" out to me last week (nice boss, eh?), and yesterday my brother said "Geez, Ange, you're getting a little thin up top". My loving and adoring boyfriend said to me on the way home "at least you're getting thin everywhere else. You're brother's only getting fatter"
To try 'n help the situation, I got a trim yesterday, and had some layers thrown in... I just didn't have it in me to have my hair cut short, as I want to "hold on" to all I have left. My hair used to be so long, thick, wavy and beautiful. *sigh* I wouldn't trade the surgery for anything, but the consequences sure aren't fun to deal with!

Good luck Ingrid. You'll do well.
I went back to work and was ready for it at 2 1/2 weeks with my G-tube still in (I know some of you didn't have to have one of those). But I kept bumping it against my desk. Was sure glad when it came out.
Like some of the other folks, I do better with a routine, like during the week rather than on the weekends. I get everything ready the night before.
Save some energy for your excerise because that's the hardest thing, at least for me.
Take care,
Kristin :-)

I'm swimming a mile three days a wee****asionally I do weights but need to get into a routine. My orthopedist has said absolutely no stairs and the health club I belong to has all the weight machines on the second floor. I also walk a couple of miles a few times a week.

I do free weight every other day, stationary bike, and walk my dog daily. I need to do more, but the neuropathy and fibro still get me down for days at a time when they flare. I want to join a gym, but buying new clothes every other week and paying off the surgery, it's not been in the budget yet.
