Angel;
I also had my surgery on 11/15. I was really good about only weighing 1x/week for my first 3.5 months. In the last month and a half, I've started weighing 4-6x/week. I think you're doing great! You're already on the verge of Century Club!
Are you using fitday.com or keeping track of your food in anyway? When I've had stalls, I've been able to go back and look at what I was eating and make some assumptions about how that's affecting my loss. For me, I lose more when I'm not as strict on my carbs as some folks recommend.
Also, when I had my surgeon follow-up two weeks ago, my surgeon said at this far out, I should be losing at 8-10 lbs./month. This past month, I lost 11, so I'm happy with that. The previous two months, I had lost 7 and 9 lbs. respectively.
Remeber, we didn't gain it all overnight. We can't expect to lose it overnight.
Blessings,
Jennifer

I second that motion:haha:
My hair is almost down to my butt and it's thinning but I am ok with that (my hair was REALLY thick pre-op)...thank goodness for me it has not been terrible.
Funny story for the pet owners.....
I have noticed my hair is all over the house on the floor, furniture, rugs, everywhere!!!! So, one day I let the dog outside to go potty and I asked my daughter to let my doggie back in. My daughter goes to let her in and she starts laughing like crazy...I came to the door and said "what is so funny?". Well she pointed to our dog who was was going #2 and there it was....a piece of her poop hanging from her butt on a long strand of my hair!!! My daughter said "I told you your hair was everywhere". We laughed so hard I thought I was going to die:haha:

Oh, Janet.. I am with you, sister! My hair has been falling out all over the place for the past 3 months(I am almost 6 months post-op). I talked with my doc who told me to increase my Zinc suppliment, and it has slowed down, but I feel like a Chinese crested dog..lol. My lab work all looks good, too... so I have no idea what is going on. I had long hair, I got it cut to shoulder length. It was thick, wavy and looked good, now it's just there... but better with the cut. Hope your losses stop soon. Jacki K from PA

How often are you weighing yourself? Please see my post "I can't stay off the scale". If you are doing all the right things (and it looks like you are) then just weigh in once a week and let it go. I feel so much better and notice more of a difference if I just stay off the darn scale. Yes...we all understand the emotional rollercoaster that this journey provides. It's not easy so hang in there...and don't forget to remember where you came from (311 in your case). You are truly do amazing work!:kiss:

I had my surgery on nov. 15 too. I am down 80 pounds and I do the same thing I will bounce up and down the same 5 pounds and then all of a sudden bam I go down again. I had a long stall for about a month and a half. I wa sso down too. But we will lose it I keep telling my self, It will come off don't worry. I just see other people and the same weight as me and they look better but I am so short. I'm only 4'11". So my 160 looks different than somebody else's 160. Ok I hope I helped alittle. Have a good day.

Topic: Feeling a little sad...
Hello everyone,
I am feeling a little depressed about my stall of a weightloss. I am losing around 11-13 pounds a month for the last 2 months. I had surgery on Nov 15th I weighed 311 and now I weigh 212 to 214 I am down 99-97 pounds Which I am very happy don't get me wrong but I am fighting to lose these pounds I feel like I should be more steadily losing. I will go down 2 then gain 4 then down again like a cycle. I am working out, drinking water and getting my protein and vitamins in. I am not snacking doing everything by the book. Eating high protein and watching the carbs. I am about to throw the scale at the wall and sma**** It is driving me so nuts I feel a little obsessed. I make goals for myself then it seems my body doesn't want to cooperate. Sorry but I had to vent. No one understands but I know you will. It is hard to talk with my hubby or friends because they say I shouldn't worry about it.
Thank you for listening.

Janet;
That's one advantage to keeping mine short. The only time I notice it's falling out is when I get out of the shower and my feet look like Chewbacca because that's where it all landed.

Topic: Hair, hair and MORE hair!!!
When is this gonna stop???
You can't tell any difference,
at least I can't, but I have
LONG hair! And it's EVERYWHERE!!!
GRRRRRRRRRRR!:mad:
My bathroom floor looks like
it has a shag rug every day!
I have never lost hair like this.
My poor dog gets it all over
his chew toys! I vaccuum and sweep
but it keeps falling out!!
OK...vent over! :haha:
