Leann;
It's been over 100 degrees here the last two days. It's definitely swimming weather in South Texas. There's supposed to be a cold front coming through tomorrow night and Thursday, it'll only be 91. Woo hoo!

Topic: New photos of me and Dh
Hello, I finally got dh to take pics on Easter. So I finally have updated my profile and web page. Check them out! It seems that pics are the only way I can somewhat see the change. Also, I put on my old jeans not expecting much of a diffrence. OMG they are huge! That was a good Wow moment for me. Soooo Go try on you old jeans and really see what a diffrence you have made in your life!

I have not bought a new suit yet. Im afraid that when it finally is swimming weather(Colorado you never know when that will be) it will be to big. However the suit I wore to my honeymoon fits me even better (actually getting way to big)than it did on the honeymoon. And I thought I looked good then. lol Any way congrats. isnt this so fun!

Nope, not alone at all. I'm holding my breath that I don't have another stricture develop. I'm still finding too that certain foods and I just don't get along. Best I've been able to do is trial and error..boy do I hate the errors. I really think much of it is a matter of time and healing. Which means we need patience...and that is so not one of my virtues. ;)

They had Speedo tankinis, too, but I figured for working out (lap swimming), a one piece was better. Now, before my trip to Florida for 4th of July weekend, I'll probably stock up on a few new cute tankinis.

Great news! I also got a new suit. I chose a tankini and you know, it is much more flattering than a tank suit on me and does hide some of the lumps and bumps that are still in the wrong place. Ia got mine at Target and paid under $25. My thinking. like yours, was that this was the right priced suit for those in between sizes ad I won't be out much $ when I need another. The quality was much better than I imagined it would be as well.
Topic: New Swimsuit!
Tonight, Michael and I were at Costco and they had ladies Speedo one piece swimsuits for $19.99. Our new gym has four pools and three hot tubs, so I needed a new swimsuit. I wasn't sure what size to get (and you can't try on at Costco), so I grabbed a 12 thinking if it didn't fit now, it would in a few weeks.
Well, for those of you not in South Texas, it was 100 degrees here in San Antonio today, so on the way home from Costco, Michael decided we should go swimming. When I got home, I tried on my new swimsuit and it fits!
Woo hoo! So now I've got a swimsuit that if it gets ruined in the chlorine, I didn't spend too much on it. So, we went swimming in one of the outdoor pools and then enjoyed the hot tub for a little bit.

Sorry you're going through this. Have you had the dilitation performed? Also, taking any medications for the ulcers? I've had the same thing...2 dilitations and an ulcer. The first dilitation was at 6 weeks and the last was the start of March. I was put on prevacid nightly and sucralfate (spelling?) before each 'meal' (i.e. breakfast, lunch, dinner) and at bedtime. It's helped a lot.
You'll start losing again once you can eat. Get the stricture taken care of, talk to the doc about the ulcers first. Start healing from those then worry about the weight coming off afterwards.
