A nice long hot soaking works for me. I know the feelings you are decribing. I do a hour and a half to 2 hours a day 4-5 times a week. You would think I would look like a fit and toned person by now... I am getting there. I love to exercise now. Good work and keep it up. You cannot go wrong with exercise. Hugs Angel J

Janet; I struggle with the same thing every day, but believe me, your skin will thank you for the additional water. Blessings, Jennifer

Janet My skin seems to be dryer also. Several people have told me its because its winter time. Well i'm 37 and this is the first year winter has done this to me. I think its from the surgery. So i am going to up my water and see if it helps me. Good luck hope it works for both of us.

Topic: Liquid gel and time release meds.
Hello After almost 4 months post op this question has come up for me. This weekend i by mistake bought liquid gel stool softner. I remember in one of our information classes that we couldn't take liquid gel or time release capsules. That we didn't have the stomach acid to disolve them. My dr. said that even one of his patients months down the road had a big knot when he went in to explore it was a bunch of undisolved capsules. So my question is have any of you taken the liquid gel stool softeners and done okay with them? I wondering if i can take this bottle or if i wasted my money? Thanks D

Janet; Up your water. It will help a lot. Anytime I notice my skin feeling dry I try to increase my water and that takes care of it within a few days. Also, remember if you're going to be flying, the altitude dehydrates you as well. So, make sure you get even more water on days you fly as well as before and after. Blessings, Jennifer 253 / 187 / ???

Have any of you gals noticed that your skin is MUCH dryer since you've had surgery? Mine is like leather! I never expected that one! Lotions don't seem to do much good, either. Oh, maybe for an hour or so, but not too much longer than that. Could it be I'm not getting enough fluids? !
