I had my surgery on 11-15-05 and I am down to 175 and in a reg. size 18 I am so happy I did this surgery too. I have lost 68 pounds as of today.
I was in a stall for a long time too and finally the scale moved this week.

Anyone out there experiencing this????? I went from a size 20 to a size 10 since my surgery Nov. 14th. When I look in the mirror, I still see me as a size 20 even though others notice the difference. Even when I shop, I pick something up and think "that'll never fit me" but it actually is my size now? I am so thankful and happy to be smaller and weigh less and feel better, but just dont see it. Is this normal? Thanks guys, Laurel

was my RNY. I am so thankful for this life giving surgical option!
Today, I weighed in the 180s for the first time since probably 1997. I feel great (as long as I eat the right foods) and am so excited for every thing my new body brings.
Today, I am down 64 lbs. All because of this wonderful tool I have been given.
Blessings,
Jennifer

Annette;
Thanks for the warning on the weather. I'm so not looking forward to the cold weather. I've turned into such a southerner! Today it was 75 in Austin. I was wearing one of my company polo shirts and black pants and in the shade, I was freezing!
I got home tonight and hubby and I went to our favorite NY style pizza place for dinner. I at the toppings off of one piece of a white pizza with pepperoni and meatballs. I should definitely be back to my normal self tomorrow. I have such a huge new appreciation for how the right foods fuel my body and how the wrong foods make me lethargic. What an amazing realization!
Blessings,
Jennifer
