Diane; It was great. The Tues/Thurs Body & Soul usually has about 100-120 people, so it's very crowded. Last night's class had less than 30. I had tons of room to move around and get crazy! Plus, I finally found the right clothes to wear so I don't overheat. I switched from a t-shirt to a spaghetti strap tank top and kept my shirt on the entire class AND the drive home. I've been driving home in shorts and a sports bra...even at 155, not a great look. Blessings, Jennifer

Jennifer, I did move to lose on Monday!! Spent 1 hr, 15 mins at gym, 40 mins on treadmill, 20 mins on new machine called "the wave", and 15 mins on recumbant bike. Planning on going back tonight right from work. How was your Body and Soul class? DianeC.

Please, don't anybody pout over their 'slow' weight loss - I might go back to pouting again. I've finally decided I can legitimately celebrate my 85 pounds, and intend to keep doing so! You can add that to your tally, please, Jennifer!

Have you tried increasing your protein to 85-100g for a week and see if that does anything for you? By using fitday and tracking my weight loss to my intake, I learned that the weeks that I did higher protein, I lost more weight. It may be worth trying to see if you find a difference. Blessings, Jennifer

Hi Jennifer! Happy surgery day! My starting weight was 300 I was 270 day of surgery I am currently 195 and my goal is 150 I do track what I eat at fit day about once a week (I write everything down every day but only enter it there when I get time) I drink between 80-100+ oz of water per day, get about 70g of protien and my calorie intake is between 950-1200 depending on the day. I excercise a MINIMUM of 3 times a week, and only eat carbohydrates once per day. My surgeon has shown some dissapointment in my slow weight loss, but I stay positive because I am still losing and there *is* a pattern. Janet

Janet; How much protein are you eating? Have you ever tracked your daily food on fitday.com or calorieking.com? Are you exercising regularly? How much water do you drink daily? How much weight did you have to lose at the start of your journey? How much would you still like to lose? There's so many factors that go into how we lose that without more information it's difficult to say why your pattern has been like it has. If you post more information, I'd be happy to help you as much as I can. I'm 9 months out today, too. Happy day surgery sister! Blessings, Jennifer

Topic: Nine Month Statistics
Hello Everyone! I am 9 months post-op today... and I was looking over my weight loss each month. The first month I lost 20 lbs. The next I loss 5 then 10 then about 5 then 10 5 (each month is give or take a lb or two... but you get the idea) Has anyone else lost in such a manner? Do you think having PCOS might have something to do with it? Thanks for your input! **hugs** Janet

Haven't been on either, my 91 lbs. can be added. I'm pretty much behind everyone else in the pounds lost.
