Hi Jessica~
Your loss is outstanding!!
I am sorry to hear your in pain. Have you tried Prilosec? it's an rx antacid, but also coats the tummy. I have been on them since the very start, it helps with digestion and pain in my pouch. I had the same problem as you (it sounds). As the doc about it and let us know how your doing.
Keep up the great work!

Allison~
I believe, as Lorraine does in Angels, the power of prayer. Your prayers and the fact you spent extra long on them just for me has been both appreciated and felt. Thank you so much for that!
That whole anorexia diagnosis makes me so mad. Your right it's not a mental problem when life overwhelms us...it's just called LIFE! some people deal with problems much differently then others, but shrinks get paid to diagnose patients and he had to write something in his chart I guess.
I really need to get a support system in place for myself is all. I am so busy taking care of everyone else's issues I tend to ignor myself and my needs. Comong back to this board is definetley a step in that direction.
Glad I made you smile and again THANKS!!

Hiya' Jesi~
Thanks for the compliment and might I say you look great too....what a hottie!
I am a little worried about the weight gain from having to eat more frequently now though. Although it has not happened yet, I still fear the gaining. This hypoglycemia is kicking my butt though, it is the worse damn feeling in the world. Just when I though I had it under control I had an attack the day I posted here (well that night). The doctors say I've probably been hypoglycemic all along, but before wls when my food intake was 3-4x as much I just never got attacks or never realized it.
Anyhow~ my son is doing amazingly well in his program...I just miss him. My life is showing signs of stability though, so that is good.
You keep up the good work Jesi....you look great!

Ohh, Hi there to you too Lorraine, how the heck have you been??? Sorry to hear your daughter just never got over herself and could be happy for you and your new life. It seems such a shame that we try to raise our kids, give them more than what we had growing up, and sometimes the thanks we get is a slap in the face. Oh well, one day she'll come around and understand what she's losing out on.....A great person in her life! Just pray darlin'
Have a wonderful day!

That's a hard one and one I struggle with as well. I guess it would depend on wether or not it's a family member or a friend. If it's a family memeber your kinda stuck with em'. If it's a friend shoot em' to the curb and be done with them...don't be anyones doormat in life. You deserve and should demand better.
Have a great day Allison!

Jessica, I hope you are well, I don't get that pouch problem you are talking about. I so know just when I am full and try to stop right away. I would just say consult your Dr and tell him. I am sure he will find out what is wrong.
Good Luck .... Feel better.....Lorraine

Topic: RE: Update/question
Hi there Jesi,
How are you and everyone else? Well here is the update on me. I am feeling great. I now am holding steading at 130-135 pds. I weighed 245lbs at the day of my surgery. I have lost a total of 115 pds and really don't come too much under the 130 lbs mark. I am 5ft6, so that is enough. I am slim and don't really want to lose more. I was wearing between a size 26/28 before my surgery and now am wearing a size 6 or 8. I feel great. My bloodwork is great. The Dr has cut my Iron tablets down to 3 times a week, instead of everyday. I now can digest food much better.I take my vitamins religously if I do nothing else right for the day.I do find those food demons are still here with me everyday. I guess for the rest of my life I will battle this.I will stay strong and try to eat very healthy.
As far as my body skin hanging
.... My butt, breasts and thighs are very loose. I can't afford to fix them yet. My insurance will cover the LBL but I really don't have much skin hanging there. I am a nurse so my arms and Lower Body (the Apron ) is not hanging. I use them constantly and they stayed firm.
I do wear those wonderful wonderbras.
I hope you get well in time for your surgery.
Take care Jesi and to all that read this post.
Diane ... Please post again so I can read your
wisdom.

Topic: RE: Does anyone elses pouch get hard?
Doc says that he thinks my intestins are spasming, and causing my pouch to restrict. Im going for an Upper GI probably next week, and he put me on Zoloft of all things, he says that Anti-Depressants help with intestinal problems. So we'll see.
BTW I lost 11lbs
