Just got my date

Hi all, I just got my date yesterday December 16th and pre-op on December 14th. I also have final exams on the 10th and 13th. I'm not too broken up about missing Christmas dinner. I have more fun watching the kids open their gifts from Santa than the food. Margie

Hi! I am the 17th! I was moved from Jan 5th.......I am so happy! I am a wee bit scared as I don't know what it REALLY will be like, but I have talked to alot of post ops and they all say they would do it again in a heartbeat! Minimal pain if it is RNY done laproscopically. I have alot of medical leave and I am thrilled to be getting a few weeks off work.....paid! T giving is my last hurrah.....I have to start a restricted diet on Fri after Tgiving. Just think-we will be losing weight on Christmas day!!!! I will keep u in my prayers......Carolyn
